We had the good fortune of connecting with Natalie Moore and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Natalie, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
There has never been a time in my life where I envisioned myself working a non-creative or a non-artistic job. I have loved performing ever since I was a little girl. I used to dance around the basement of my childhood home in Colorado dancing, singing, and putting on concerts for my stuffed animals or an imaginary crowd. I was very involved in musical theatre as a kid and this helped fuel my desire to perform. I always saw myself acting and singing as a career even as a small elementary school kid. It’s something that I truly believe (even if it sounds cliche) that I was born with and was meant to do. I have worked non-creative jobs before such as waitressing or receptionist work, but I always found myself longing for something different where I can truly express myself and have a bigger impact. I personally prefer a creative and artistic career because it is deeply fulfilling to me to create and share something meaningful whether it is a character I play in a film or a song I wrote. There is really nothing like it. I also get bored doing the same thing everyday as is common in the 9-5 life and I can’t stand sitting at a desk all day. It’s just not me.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am an actress and singer. Something that sets me apart is that in addition to acting, I work a lot behind the scenes doing things like PA work, sound, and editing. Working behind the scenes has shown me a new perspective of filmmaking that I feel many actors don’t have and I feel lucky to have had this experience. There are many films I am proud to have been a part of whether it be in front of the camera or behind the camera. One of the films I am most proud to be a part of is Life Like This, written and directed by Abraham Lopez and created by his production company A Greek God Entertainment. It is a very intense story and the character I played, Chelsea, is a very complex and intense character. Playing Chelsea pushed me a lot as an actor and I am proud of the growth I received as a result. Life Like This is currently in pre-production of being made into a feature film so I am really excited about this! It hasn’t been easy to get to where I am in my life today. Like many people, I’ve faced a lot of difficulties, challenges, and obstacles. I overcame them by having faith and never losing sight of the vision I have for myself. When you have a goal and believe in it strongly, you won’t waver from it. I’ve learned many lessons on my journey so far, one of the most important ones being that the journey is more important than the destination. I’ve learned to enjoy the journey a lot more than I used to and this has made a big difference in my quality of life. I want people to know that I am passionate about what I do and that I am super grateful to be where I am today!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
We would definitely have to go to the beach and stop at Malibu Seafood for lunch or dinner. We would also go to Universal Studios to ride the tram and the rides. Also, Griffith Observatory is a really cool place to visit so we would probably go there as well.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to dedicate my shoutout to the amazing team at A Greek God Entertainment including CEO Abraham Lopez, my manager Talisa Malhas, and my good friend Greg James. I am very grateful to have met them as they have been a huge part of my life and career.
