We had the good fortune of connecting with Natalie Moore and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Natalie, how do you think about risk?
Taking a risk can be intimidating and scary sometimes, but I believe it is a crucial part of life. Risk taking has played a huge role in my life and career! One of the biggest risks I took was moving to California from Colorado where I grew up. I was 18 and didn’t really know what it would be like here or how things were going to turn out, but I took the risk and made the move and I’m so glad that I did because it turned out to be the start of the greatest adventure of my life! I later on took another risk and auditioned for the role of Jessica in a show I am lucky enough to be a part of called Pathways. At the time, Jessica was a much different character than I was used to playing. She is very tough and sarcastic and I had always been cast as very girly or ditzy characters so it brought me out of my comfort zone, but I ended up landing the role and it has changed my life forever so I am glad that I took the risk! My life would be very different today if I hadn’t taken any risks so I believe it is important to do so.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I grew up doing musical theatre which is where my love for performing, acting, and singing started evolving. What sets me apart from others is that I put a lot of hard work and dedication into what I do. I believe that hard work is valuable and rewarding so I always give my all. I am most proud of playing Jessica in Pathways. This show means a lot to me and I am really excited for people to see it! I got to where I am today by practicing a lot, being resilient, and working as a team. Abraham and everyone at A Greek God Entertainment have helped me and taught me a lot so I am very grateful to them. It hasn’t been an easy journey and I have faced many obstacles along the way. I overcame them by having faith because I know that with God anything is possible. I have learned that this is a tough business to be in and I think a lot of people don’t realize that. You have to have thick skin and keep getting back up even when you get knocked down. I want people to know that I love what I do and I hope someday my story will inspire others to follow their dreams as well!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
There are so many great places to visit around LA. I would definitely take a friend to Santa Monica Pier and also to LACMA to see the lights at night. I have found recently there are a lot of great food trucks around the area so we would probably stop by one of those to eat!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I’d like to dedicate my shoutout to Abraham Lopez at A Greek God Entertainment LLC who gave me the opportunity to live my dream of acting in a TV series as well as Talisa Malhas and Greg also with A Greek God Entertainment who have also been a huge support to me in my life and career.  These people have always been there for me and encouraged me on this journey and I am very appreciative and grateful to them!
