We had the good fortune of connecting with Natasha Powers and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Natasha, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
I wanted to pursue this type of career because I wanted to be able to share my vision with the world. Not only did I want to do that but i wanted to to be able to create something to help people and create things that people can relate to and use to heal themselves. I grew up wanting away to express myself and that so happened to be the creative arts. I think it’s Important to find a creative outlet that lets you express yourself and I love seeing what my work does for other people and how it helps them realize they can accomplish what they want to.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am a filmmaker, photographer, and model. My favorite thing to do is tell us a story that’s with a photo or a video Or even just screenwriting I like to be able to help people and relate to people and show them all the little things in life. I am excited to start creating more films that people can relate to and use to feel better about themselves. I’m also proud of how far I’ve come over what I went through. I love letting people know that you can go out and chase your dreams. Don’t let anybody tell you you can’t. Throughout this journey, I’ve learned that not everyone is meant to stay in your life, but the people that stick with you through the hard times and motivate you to be the best version of yourself that are important and I’ve also learned that it’s OK to Fail failing is just a chance to grow and learn and be better. I want people to know that just because you weren’t delt the best cards in life doesn’t mean it has to stay like that you are in charge of your future and you are in charge of being the best version of yourself and achieving what you wanna achieve in life and no matter what happens you’re going to be OK as always say don’t end Your story just because a chapter is hard and one day what you went there will be somebody else’s survival guide and use that hurt to create something beautiful

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Venice is always a beautiful place to hang out. The vibes are good. There’s always things to see and the food is great same with Santa Monica. I also love walking up to the Hollywood sign very peaceful up there and downtown is always great during the day but especially at night makes you feel like you’re in a movie and it’s just amazing

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
