Hi Natasha, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
When I decided to start my own business, my thought process was driven by a combination of personal ambition, past experiences, and a commitment to creating a supportive and inclusive work environment. I wanted the financial independence and the opportunity to be my own boss, but there was more to it than that.

Long ago, I was deeply involved in helping build and grow a business that I treated as if it were my own. I poured my heart and soul into it, dedicating countless hours and immense effort. However, when it came time to reap the rewards, I was denied any equity or ownership stake. It was a hard lesson in the reality that not everyone recognizes or appreciates your contributions, no matter how significant they may be.

That experience fueled my determination to create something different—a business where people feel valued and appreciated. I made a promise to myself that I would never forget those who stood by me and supported me along the way. I vowed never to be selfish and to recognize that true success comes from the collective effort of a dedicated team, not just a single individual.

By starting my own business, I aimed to build a company culture rooted in mutual respect, collaboration, and shared success. I wanted to ensure that everyone who contributes to the growth of the business feels a sense of ownership and pride in what we achieve together. This philosophy has been the cornerstone of my journey as an entrepreneur and continues to guide my decisions every day.

What should our readers know about your business?
Fans Utopia came to me in a dream when I was super stressed out in 2021, not knowing what I wanted to do career-wise or how I was going to survive. Before Fans Utopia, I had another business with my good friend Angel, who was battling cancer at the time. We started a leather repair company to generate extra income and become our own bosses. We met while working at another business that I helped build but did not value me as a person. Like many, I made the mistake of turning that job into my life, treating it as my own business, giving it my all every day. In return, I was neither paid adequately nor offered opportunities to grow or buy into the business. I thought to myself, why am I making someone all this money while barely being compensated for my efforts? That’s when I decided if I could grow other people’s businesses, I could create my own.

It’s daunting when you’re young and haven’t taken the traditional route of college and a planned career. I started working young in my family’s business, and eventually, I had to figure out what I wanted to do on my own. Initially, it was hard to humble myself and start from the ground up because I was so used to being a boss in the family business. Growing up without a traditional life and without a clear game plan is frightening. I always wanted to love coming to work and be passionate about what I do. It’s challenging to work for friends and family and to trust the right people along the way. However, every job I had prepared me for where I am now. I learned Shopify at one place, shipping at another, QuickBooks and bill paying elsewhere. Each experience taught me valuable lessons, and I am grateful for them.

Owning a business is not easy, and there were times I wanted to give up because I didn’t know how I would pull it off. I created a business in a niche market where public advertising is challenging, and people often judge me. It’s much harder than just selling a ton of T-shirts. Each item is unique to the customer, and the business has grown entirely through word of mouth. One of the hardest parts is when you first start and wonder when your next order will come in, trying to understand your customers and their habits. It’s crucial to ask others for help and have the right people in your circle. No business is a one-person job; you need the right team around you.

What I am most proud of is where Fans Utopia is today and where it’s heading. We’ve expanded the brand with branches like Fans Utopia Plus, where up-and-coming performers can sign up for a monthly fee, and our newest venture, Fans Utopia Experience based in Las Vegas. Here, fans can spend a day with the team and their favorite adult stars, whether it’s attending adult shows or racing go-karts with us. Every creation is unique, offering fans more opportunities to connect with their favorite stars in meaningful ways.

The lessons I’ve learned along the way are numerous. It’s important to be adaptable, resilient, and open to learning new skills. Building a supportive network is crucial, as no one can succeed alone. Always stay true to your passion and vision, even when faced with challenges. The journey may be tough, but the rewards of seeing your dreams come to fruition are immeasurable.

Welcome to Malibu, where every day feels like a vacation! Let’s make sure my best friend experiences the best this beautiful city has to offer.

We’ll start our days with a relaxed morning at Café La Plage, enjoying their delicious coffee and pastries. This cozy spot is perfect for catching up and planning our day ahead. From there, we’ll head to Zuma Beach, one of Malibu’s most iconic spots. The soft sands and clear waters make it an ideal place to lounge, swim, and soak up the sun.

For lunch, we’ll visit Pita Bu, renowned for the best falafel. Their Mediterranean flavors are perfect for a light yet satisfying meal. Afterward, a visit to the Getty Villa is a must. This museum, set in a recreated Roman country house, offers a rich collection of ancient Greek and Roman art, perfect for a cultural afternoon.

As the sun begins to set, we’ll head to Point Dume. The views here are unparalleled, and it’s a great spot for a peaceful sunset picnic. On other nights, we can enjoy a delicious dinner at Zinqué, where the ambiance and food make it an excellent place to unwind.

Midweek, we’ll hop on electric bikes and explore the scenic coastal routes and charming neighborhoods. This is one of my favorite ways to discover new places and enjoy the fresh air. After working up an appetite, we’ll grab smoothies at Vitamin Barn. Their nutritious options are perfect for a midday pick-me-up.

Being Jewish, I cherish my time at Chabad of Malibu on Saturdays. Attending the morning service and staying for the community lunch afterward is a highlight. There’s nothing like a fresh, home-cooked Jewish meal to bring warmth and comfort.

For a touch of luxury, we’ll dine at Nobu Malibu, where exquisite Japanese cuisine meets breathtaking ocean views. This spot is a culinary gem and perfect for a memorable evening.

Throughout the week, we’ll balance our time between adventure and relaxation. We’ll hike the beautiful trails at Solstice Canyon, where waterfalls and scenic vistas await. And of course, we’ll spend plenty of time simply hanging out at the beach, grounding ourselves with the calming sounds of the waves.

Malibu is all about its laid-back lifestyle, natural beauty, and hidden gems. This week will be a perfect blend of everything that makes this place special, from the delicious local eats and beautiful hikes to the serene beaches and cultural spots. It’s all about experiencing the best of what Malibu has to offer while enjoying each other’s company.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My journey and success are deeply rooted in my upbringing and the myriad experiences, both challenging and rewarding, that have shaped me into who I am today. Growing up quickly, facing numerous adversities, and experiencing moments of rock bottom have all played a crucial role in humbling me and instilling a sense of resilience and determination.

First and foremost, my dad deserves immense credit. From a young age, he imparted invaluable street smarts and survival skills. When I was just 12 years old, I found myself running his business due to a motorcycle accident he had. His teaching style was tough and often unorthodox, but now, I realize how profoundly those lessons have impacted me. His resilience and tenacity taught me the importance of perseverance and adaptability in the face of adversity.

My mom has been a beacon of patience, faith, and unwavering positivity. Even during the darkest times, she taught me to remain kind, optimistic, and appreciative of every blessing. Her unwavering optimism and strength have been a guiding light, showing me that there is always hope and a reason to stay positive, no matter the circumstances.

My aunt has always been the voice of reason in my life, offering sage advice and a grounded perspective whenever I needed it. Her wisdom and steady support have been invaluable in navigating life’s complexities, providing me with the clarity and guidance to make sound decisions.

My boyfriend has introduced me to financial savvy and the importance of taking calculated risks. His practical approach to finances and investment has not only enhanced my financial literacy but also encouraged me to embrace opportunities that I might have otherwise overlooked. His support has been instrumental in my personal and professional growth, pushing me to aim higher and believe in my potential.

My family, my ever-enthusiastic cheerleaders, have consistently supported my ideas, no matter how unconventional or ambitious they seemed. Their encouragement and unwavering belief in me have fueled my drive and determination. Knowing that I have their support gives me the courage to pursue my dreams and face challenges head-on.

Special mention goes to my two best friends, Amanda and Kristie. Amanda manages the day-to-day operations of my business with incredible efficiency and keeps everything in line, allowing me to focus on growth and strategy. Kristie and I celebrate each other’s achievements with unmatched enthusiasm and support. Their friendship and unwavering support have been essential in both my personal and professional life.

While I didn’t dive into traditional business books, I focused on literature about positive thinking and manifesting. I’ve learned the significance of the energy we project and the words we speak. Books on positive thinking have taught me the power of a positive mindset and how it can shape our reality. Additionally, podcasts like “Him and Her” have provided valuable insights from various CEOs on routines, strategies, and advice. These resources have equipped me with practical knowledge and inspiration to navigate the business world.

In growing a business, I’ve realized the importance of maintaining a close-knit circle of individuals who share the same energy and values. Celebrating each other’s achievements and motivating one another to be our best is crucial. Over the years, I’ve become more selective about my friendships, ensuring they add positivity and value to my life rather than stress. Surrounding myself with like-minded, supportive individuals has been a key factor in my success.

In summary, my success is a tapestry woven from the love, support, and teachings of my family, friends, and mentors. Their contributions have been indispensable, and I am profoundly grateful for each one of them. They have not only supported me but also shaped me into the person I am today, and for that, I am eternally thankful.
