We had the good fortune of connecting with Letty Perez Love and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Letty Perez, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I wanted to start something using my creative side.
The side that loved design, experiences, and bringing people together in a fun and memorable way.
For a long time, those two parts of my life felt separate… until one day I had an idea.
What if I could create a business that combined hospitality, creativity, and connection?
When I came across Sip Social Orange County — a mobile beverage experience designed for events. It just clicked. Instead of just serving drinks, the goal is to create an atmosphere where people gather, celebrate, and connect.
And of course, it all centers around our little Italian cart.
When people first see it at an event, something magical happens. They smile.
They take photos. They walk over to ask questions. And before long, strangers start talking to each other. It becomes a little hub of conversation.
And that’s my favorite part. Because at the end of the day, my business isn’t really about beverages. It’s about connection. In today’s world we need more of that !

What should our readers know about your business?
The Heart of the Celebration
Born and raised in the vibrant landscape of Orange County, our journey began with a simple but profound appreciation for the moments that bring people together. What truly sets us apart isn’t just our aesthetic; it’s the way we transform ordinary spaces into pockets of pure joy. There is a specific kind of magic that occurs the moment guests catch sight of our beloved Piaggio Ape mobile beverage cart—a charming, Italian-inspired truck that immediately becomes the centerpiece of shared laughter.
Whether it is an intimate wedding, a high-energy brand launch, or a refined corporate gathering, we pride ourselves on being more than just a service. We are facilitators of connection. Watching a guest light up while savoring a perfectly crafted drink or seeing them pose for a fun selfie with the truck is the ultimate reward.
Lessons from the Road
Our business path was never meant to be a straight line. Building a mobile brand from the ground up came with its own set of unique hurdles—navigating the logistics of carts and the complexities of event planning. However, these challenges were our greatest teachers. We learned that resilience is found in the details and that a genuine smile is as essential as the quality of the pour.
We want the world to see our brand as a reminder that life’s best moments are often the simplest ones. Our mission remains clear: if we can sprinkle even a little extra laughter into your day, then we have succeeded. Here’s to many more unforgettable memories and the incredible people we meet along the way!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Orange County is one of the most sought after place to live. it could be the great weather , the yummy food , or the beautiful beaches right at your doorstep to name a few things.I would start with a day in Newport Beach, it is always a must. Take the Ferry over to balboa island for some shopping and ride bikes on the boardwalk. Grab lunch at the Fly -n-fish and enjoy the beach. Go home get dolled up and end the night at Oceans 48 for some fine dining which makes any day special. Another day would be spent in Laguna Beach where art meets the beach. Get some ice cream and peruse some art. My favorite dining spot is the Drake in Laguna Beach for Live music and amazing food from executive chef Gstrein. For a more casual bite you can catch some views at Mozambique with Live music as well. Another gem is LSXO located in Blue Gold Restaurant in Surf City, Huntington Beach . You enter in through an unmarked door . If you know , you know! It’s Vietnamese food with an edge.
Another day would be a visit t the Sherman Library where you can stroll the beautiful gardens and grab a coffee. Then head over to Fashion Island to get some shopping in and relax by the Koi pond.
Hiking is always fun at Crystal Cove State Park and take a walk to the Crystal Cove Cottages and check out the place they filmed Beaches with Better Midler. Afterwards walk over to the Beach Comber for lunch and a beverage !
There is alway something to do in Orange County, if you enjoy history there is the Richard Nixon library in Yorba Linda, Bowers Museum for World Art, or the Marconi Museum where you can view over 100 cars worth 60 Million. There is something for everyone no matter who you are !
