We had the good fortune of connecting with Nathan Javidzad and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Nathan, can you share the most important lesson you’ve learned over the course of your career?
Working in the Events Industry, hard deadlines are set and the clock doesn’t stop till you meet the goals of any particular event that the value has been created for. If you hear what it is that your customers need and provide service for the value of what you believe in and stand for versus making the money that comes with it… success will come naturally.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
As somebody who is involved with the operations of a business but also performing as a DJ for the company, I have a great deal of joy in seeing the actual events come together in person. Considering I am always hired for an event that is non-commercial/ticketed and more so a social event – understanding how I can match my abilities to the client’s needs is always key. Although I have genres of music that I love and enjoy playing it’s important to look at my clients and deliver what it is that they are seeking as I wholeheartedly believe that their priorities always come first.
Often what they are seeking and what I feel is best for their event is not what the majority of the attendees would enjoy. That is when I have to be a good judge of the situation and adapt to a good middle ground between the two.
Our brand is comprised of incredibly skilled performers and technicians for talent and production services while emphasizing that we treat it as a white glove service and always put our customer satisfaction before our desires, always.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Where to begin! Los Angeles has so much to offer between the different cities and neighborhoods within it. I would likely make sure to give a glimpse of a few different scopes…

1. Day in Melrose, ideally on a Sunday to check out the pop-up market. Make sure to end up a great burger joint such as Irv’s Burgers!
2. Maybe a day at a theme park, either Six Flags or Disneyland, possibly universal for a fun field trip.
3. A beach day. Starting with some great brunch at Elephante, good vibes by the water, and maybe ending off with a movie or walking the promenade.
4. Possibly planning for a day where we visit LACMA museums, seeing culture historically is always so nice. Ending at Griffith Park for golden hour could be great too.
5. A day in the life of myself, checking out the office. Maybe going on a site visit or two… Possibly even coming to an actual event we’re involved with!

It’s so hard to be broad because I feel like my suggestions would be different for everybody in my life but this is generally speaking pretty well-rounded and an itinerary that I feel would work for most my friends.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Although many people contribute to the success of a business I would say confidently that my brother/business partner is somebody that deserves a great deal of recognition in this shoutout. Novaj, thank you for being an incredible business partner and brother!
