Meet Nathan Kendall | Actor, Athlete and Content Creator

We had the good fortune of connecting with Nathan Kendall and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Nathan, what is the most important factor behind your success?
Being true to who you are, and being nice to everyone. People always say Hollywood is so small, everyone knows everyone and it can be so true. If you are late to set, or treat people bad, word gets around and that can impact your next role or getting hired again. I’ve gotten some of my roles just by networking, or talking to people, making contacts, and treating everyone with respect. I try to be professional on set, and do my job the best I can, and I think that has had a big impact on my success.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I’m most excited about a project that recently was premiered, and hopefully coming to a streaming service soon! The movie Gacy: Terror in Suburbia, I play Tommy, and we just had the premiere at a theater to see the final edit. The finished movie was amazing, and the entire cast was so talented. I’m really excited for the world to see it. This particular role, I only had about an hour with the script before shooting, so it was challenging because I felt unprepared, and I try to be as prepared as possible on shoot days. But the other cast helped me, we did table reads and practiced between takes. Luckily I knew a few of the other cast already too, so we had a very easy chemistry. The director Michael Feifer was so supportive, I’d love to work with him again.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I’m a bit of a foodie, and an adventurer, so if my friend was visiting I definitely have theme parks and food on the itinerary! Universal Studios is a go-to for me, because of the connection to the entertainment industry, and I’ve actually gotten to film on the backlot before, so I like to take tourists to show them around! Plus City Walk has tons of food and drinks, we could get Crepes, or coffee, or boba, I love the variety.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to shoutout my mom. She has been behind me every step of the way and I literally couldn’t have gone to most of my jobs without her, since I started when I was 4 and couldn’t drive. My mom has always had a hand in my career, from finding my agent, finding my publicist, running lines with me, and driving me everywhere, I feel very lucky to have a mom who supports me and wants me to experience all these different things.
