We had the good fortune of connecting with Nicole Focone Russo and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Nicole, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?
Social impact, for me, means building stability behind creativity. I help entrepreneurs and artists protect what they’re building so their work can have long-term generational impact. I’m also developing a philanthropic platform rooted in family legacy and education, with a focus on empowering creatives through financial literacy and opportunity. When people feel secure, they create more boldly — and that ripple effect strengthens entire communities.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My work sits at the intersection of entertainment, entrepreneurship, and long-term strategy. I’ve spent years operating in creative spaces, developing projects and building brands, and what I learned along the way is that talent alone isn’t enough — structure matters. Protection, planning, and sustainability are what turn momentum into legacy.

What sets me apart is that I understand both the creative and the business side. I’ve lived the unpredictability of entrepreneurial income and the pressure behind building something meaningful. That perspective drives me to help creatives and business owners build real foundations behind what they’re creating.

It wasn’t easy getting here. There were pivots, reinventions, and moments that required resilience over ego. The biggest lesson I’ve learned is that long-term success isn’t about speed — it’s about discipline and staying power.

At the core of my brand is legacy. I believe in building infrastructure around dreams so they can last beyond a single project, season, or moment. I’m not interested in quick wins — I’m focused on sustainable impact.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend were visiting for a week, I’d curate an experience that blends culture, coastline, food, and a little bit of magic.

We’d start in Malibu — early morning coffee by the ocean, followed by a drive along the PCH with no real destination. Sunset at El Matador Beach never disappoints. Dinner at Nobu Malibu for the view and the energy — it’s equal parts serene and electric.

Midweek, I’d take them into the heart of Los Angeles. Dinner at Mother Wolf for Roman nostalgia and candlelight ambiance. Then maybe live music at Hollywood Bowl or an intimate show at The Roxy Theatre — LA shines when it’s experiential.

One day would be dedicated to art and architecture — wandering through The Getty Center for the views and the stillness, then late lunch in Silver Lake or Los Feliz, where creativity feels effortless.

For something playful and immersive, we’d step into whatever large-scale experience is in town — whether that’s a festival, a design installation, or a performance at Sphere if we’re feeling spontaneous enough for a quick Vegas detour.

And of course, there would be a dinner at a classic Italian spot — somewhere warm and nostalgic — because for me, food is family and storytelling.

The most exciting part of LA isn’t just the places — it’s the people. Artists, producers, founders, dreamers — everyone is building something. The energy here is ambition mixed with reinvention. If you stay long enough, you realize the real magic of this city is possibility.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My shoutout begins with my parents. As immigrants, they built a life from scratch with resilience, discipline, and unwavering belief in possibility. They taught me that stability is earned, integrity matters, and success means nothing if you don’t lift others along the way. Everything I build — in entertainment, business, and philanthropy — is rooted in honoring that foundation.

I’m also deeply grateful for my brother and the creative ecosystem I’ve grown up around. Being close to visionaries who build large-scale experiences from pure imagination has shown me what’s possible when creativity meets execution. Watching that level of discipline behind the scenes shaped how I think about leadership and impact. It reinforced that success isn’t just about talent — it’s about structure, teamwork, and long-term thinking.

And of course, I owe so much to the mentors and collaborators who’ve guided me along the way. In entertainment especially, a single introduction or word of encouragement can change the trajectory of your path. I’m very aware that none of us rise alone. My journey is a reflection of the people who believed in me, challenged me, and opened doors when I was ready to walk through them.
