Meet Nicole Mazariegos | Photobooth Owner

We had the good fortune of connecting with Nicole Mazariegos and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Nicole, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The most important factor behind the success of forever photos has been the experience we get people from start to finish. It’s not just about having a Photo Booth I didn’t event. It’s about making sure. Just feel excited to use it, that the host feels taken care of, and that everyone walks away with something fun and memorable. I put a lot of thought into the details, like custom, overlays, set up that fits each event, vibe, and having someone on site who brings good energy, liked me! I genuinely love being apart of the celebration and creating unforgettable experiences.
A big part of it too has been word-of-mouth. A lot of my bookings come from referrals, which means people are talking about their experience with us even after the event is over. I take that seriously, and I think consistency in showing up prepared, being reliable, and truly caring has played a big role in building trust with clients.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend came to visit for a week, I’d make sure they left feeling recharged, well-fed, and full of good memories. Here’s what our week would look like:
Day 1:
We’d start with something easy by picking up a coffee at a local shop that specializes iced lattes from one of my favorite coffee shops, especially one with specialty drinks. Then we would go get some pedicures and end the night with some Sushi and Saki.
Day 2:
We’d kick off the day with a scenic hike, ideally something with ocean or mountain views. After the hike, we’d stop for a casual bite to eat, maybe acai bowls or brunch, and relax for the rest of the afternoon. That evening, we’d try a restaurant that’s new to both of us, with a relaxed atmosphere and great cocktails.
Day 3:
This would be our city day. We’d hop between a few different coffee shops to try out seasonal drinks, then explore some local boutiques, vintage stores, or a market. Dinner would be KBBQ again, because honestly, I never get tired of it.
Day 4:
We’d plan for a full day at the beach. Beach chairs, tanning oil, snacks, a good playlist, and sunscreen would be all we’d need. The day would be all about sunbathing, reading, chatting, and take some cute pictures. That night, we’d grab tacos or eat at a seafood spot with a view.
Day 5:
We’d treat ourselves to a self-care day with a hydra facial. Afterward, we’d dress up and go out for dinner at a trendy spot, or maybe find a place with good music where we could dance and end the night on a fun note.
Day 6:
We’d take a little road trip, maybe to a nearby coastal town, go wine tasting, or try a hike we’ve never done before. It would be about exploring new spots, taking in the scenery, and snapping lots of photos along the way.
Day 7:
On the last day, we’d keep it simple. Brunch at my favorite café, a peaceful walk somewhere calm, and maybe one final visit to a shop or coffee spot before heading to the airport. Just a relaxed and feel-good way to wrap up the week.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Absolutely. There’s no way I could’ve built Foreverfotos.co on my own. It really took a village. first and foremost, my family. They’ve supported me from the very beginning, even when this was just an idea. From helping me set up events to encouraging me when I doubt myself, they’ve always shown up for me in real ways.
I also have to shout out my friend and clients, who kept referring me, posting about their experience, and cheering me on behind-the-scenes. so much of my growth has came from word-of-mouth, and I don’t take that lately. They believe in what I do has helped me reach more people than I ever expected.
And honestly, I give some credit to my younger self too. She took the wrist to start something from scratch, even when it was scary. That version of me didn’t have it all figured out but kept going.
