We had the good fortune of connecting with Nieta Shipp and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Nieta, what role has risk played in your life or career?
Risk are important to me especially in business Worst case scenario I’ll get rejected but to me it’s growth in even that. To not take them means I’ll never progress .. you can’t grow in comfort. Talking risks ultimately brought more opportunities my way and it allowed me to enter spaces and be in alignment. I’m right where I should be in my journey. I’m trusting the process

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Brunch Bae L.A is a brand centered around Culture Convo’s And Cocktails I started off as an empowerment based brand centered around Women( Wellness, Financial Literacy, and entrepreneurship)
I realized that I was much more so although I still curate environment’s for those purposes I also wanted to tap into more of the lifestyle aspect of it. Ideally what does my customer look like? What does she enjoy? What is a need that should be filled? Etc I became a lot more intentional. I learned a few lessons! Never Move without a contract, Make sure you’re authentic we have enough copy and pasted material , being you will ultimately scale your brand and attract your audience. My journey isn’t easy I won’t pretend but I show up for myself , That’s what separates failure and success to me, Show up and perform!! I literally started my business with 100 dollars and a vision.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
That’s easy lol hmmm I’d say Shoo Shoo Baby, Joey DTLA, Catch, Beauty and Essex, Unplugged La has amazing showcases, Perch, Ysabel, Station 1640, The Beverly Hills Hotel Polo Lounge, I love Manhattan Beach, It’s a lot tbh . I love to hang out with people from different walks of life my circle varies I genuinely like to be around Hustlers, Ambitious people with positive outlooks and attitudes.. people I can learn from but know how to turn it off sometimes and just bask in whatever experience we’re in together. I need balance with work and play

I’d like to thank my friend DR. Successful Sutton for motivating me to even start she’s been supportive of me from the beginning. RushDee from BeGenius Records for pushing me and being someone I look up to. Amber Beaugard for being my photographer, And more importantly my friend. I’d like to add a thank you to my longterm friend and business mentor Courtney Monet Randolph has been My anchor she keeps me focused and pushes me in my chaos . She created the  brand beauty founders academy.. she’s literally my go to
