We had the good fortune of connecting with Oded Halperin and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Oded, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?
Waste management with all it entails is one of the biggest problems all over the globe. With our unique technology (IP protected) we are bringing the most state of the art solutions for much better and cleaner world. The second aspect by using this technology is also the best solutions for the 3rd world countries where one of their biggest problem is sanitary. From Waste (human, farm animals, pets etc.) to Gold = for better and cleaner world.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I do not think that I am different or exceptional than many others and apart from others. All my life, dealing with people from all around got me to where I am today and by learning everyday one or more things, about myself and about those who surround me. One can say it was not so easy, the other one can say it was the easiest thing. One can find many challenges in life and from my point of view the winning formulas are: live and let live, never give up and always look at the others at eye level. One of the biggest lessons I have learned is; as more as you give, the more you get. I want the world to know that with the most simplest things we can change to world to a much cleaner and better place by all meanings
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
After visiting so many places around the Globe I found that one place which I can say is “my second home” is Florence in Italy. And this is not only because of the culture, history, people, food, wines etc., I can’t explain, but there is something different in the “Air of Tuscany” and that is also thanks to one of my best friends who became like a brother, Mr. Gianluca Foa. Any opportunity that I have since many years no, even if it is on a way of a business trip, I am doing my best to go there even just for 24 hours. No words can describe my large experience in Tuscany.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
First of all I wish to dedicate it to my blessed memory Pug Dog Paulus whom I name the company after him – Paulee Cleantec. Then some more dedications to my partner Prof. Oded Shoseyov from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, my friend and partner Moshe Hibel who is also one of the founders and of course to my CEO Dr. Ilan Levy. Without them I am not sure that we would have come so far.
