We had the good fortune of connecting with Olivia Morreale and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Olivia, what is the most important factor behind your success?
I’m definitely at the beginning! But collaboration is definitely the number one reason for the success I’ve had so far, and it’s a necessity for me as an artist and as a person. Even just getting a second set of ears or eyes on the art I’m working on makes it something that exists in the world instead of only in my mind.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My parents – thank you for always believing in me.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I love Chinatown and Downtown LA! I’m a city girl so I usually take people to my favorite city-feeling spots in Los Angeles. There’s a beautiful park right next to Chinatown, and so many great restaurants. Some of my favorites over there are Katsu Sando, Amboy and Pearl River Deli. I also love Elysian Park and Debs Park – there’s a really cute turtle pond at the top of the hill at Debs and an amazing view of LA. Debs is also a baby hike but still pretty good exercise for those afraid of commitment in that department.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My parents – thank you so much for believing in me.
Ryan Alva, Amanda Prager, Nicole Ciancia
