We had the good fortune of connecting with Pablo Saldana and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Pablo, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I wanted to get creative about being creative. When the pandemic took off, most performing artists had to pause most (if not all) of our work. It was then when I began coaching acting and music online. I started working with students across the country and would appear in schools from districts in other states. I loved getting the opportunity to expand my outreach.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I stumbled into the performing arts on a whim and discovered a home. I started to gravitate towards raw and honest creators who have inspired me to this day. I studied acting, and music separately to realize that it is all connected. And skills learned in those fields can also be applied in pretty much all aspects of your life. If you can recite a monologue in front of 300 people, you can do a presentation of your research project in your class of 20 students. In my coaching, I take a holistic approach on how your body is your instrument. It is important to keep it tuned for there to be reciprocity in oneness.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would visit all the beaches. I’d start in the South Bay and make my way up to Malibu and maybe even Santa Barbara! I love the coast that Southern California has to offer. Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to give a shout out to Jo Lane, Sarah Jane Hardy, JoannaRae Ibanez, and my theatre community that has truly stepped up to support my coaching services. I also want to dedicate this to Jorge for the unconditional support.
