We had the good fortune of connecting with Paris Ysatis and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Paris, what do you attribute your success to?
I recently launched my own personal shopping services on March 1st – Paris Ysatis Personal Shopping Services. I source fashionable pieces to create a desirable look for clients who need assistance in gathering items for any occasion. I seek to not only assist clients in shopping, but to provide multiple options for outfit choices. I support clients by targeting their style needs, enhancing their closet, promoting and contributing to their individual fashion inspiration. I also curate personalized mood boards, create shopping guides, and advise the client on an achievable budget.

My goal is for clients to feel a sense of hospitality when they utilize my services. I want them to have extreme confidence and trust in my work, that they get excited every time they come back for more personal shopping! Creating a customized experience for clients is a priority to me. It’s important to do what you love and it is even more important to shower your clients with that same love and attention! The most notable factor behind my success and the success of my personal shopping services is that I make an unforgettable impact through my creativity and service that will be a guide for those who follow in my footsteps.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
What sets me apart from others, is that I don’t allow myself to stop learning- especially with anything that pertains to the fashion industry. In my professional career, I am a merchandiser for a men’s apparel and footwear company. This position has given me the advantage in viewing the industry from a business perspective, while simultaneously keeping my creative cap on. Being in this position has also taught me so much about trends and consumer habits in fashion retail.

I love being a merchandiser. The opportunity to create a seasonal assortment for a specific region with new designed items is fun!

I was able to obtain four back-to-back fashion internships, which helped advanced me to the position I’m in now. Was it easy? Absolutely not. I was enrolled in college and working another job in addition to my internships. I was ALWAYS exhausted. I had to remind myself of my faith in God and that the season of me being stretched would pay off. Let’s just say I gave myself a ton of pep talks throughout that season. What I learned the most during that time is that nothing ever goes unnoticed. Give every day your best shot and be grateful for the journey because it will make for a great testimony.

Aside from being a merchandiser, I am also a personal shopper. This service stemmed from wanting to be able to express my creativity of fashion through shopping for myself and others. Since I recently launched, I am so excited to see where this journey takes me. I would say that launching this service is what I am most proud of thus far. If someone would’ve told me I would be personal shopping for others, I would not have believed them.

I want the world to know that I provide a service that specializes in creating shopping guides for clients to have not only one outfit option – but multiple! I also specialize in finding versatile pieces and providing various looks with just one piece! Paris Ysatis Personal Shopping Services supplies clients with an unforgettable, fashionable and customized experience.
