Meet Paul Lauden Actor, Producer, Thriver

We had the good fortune of connecting with Paul Lauden and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Paul, do you have any habits that you feel contribute to your effectiveness?
When producing my sketches, I make a conscious decision to treat the project as an experience that could positively impact everyone involved. My goal is to create a fun memory while working together toward a goal. Taking this approach gives the attention to the group, including every individual so they know each person carries value. I feel it benefits the cast, crew and ultimately the outcome of the film…creating a wonderful memory.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
What am I proud of? Creating my sketches www.youtube.com/channelsurfingstudios and my screening events “Comedy Crushes Cancer” – a celebration of my life. Producing these silly, physical shorts is my therapy and gives me a solid direction toward achieving goals and doing what I love best…making people laugh! I’m proud of everyone involved, the positive response to my content and truly incredible events.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
When my friends visit Los Angeles, I make a master list with every highlight possible. I let them choose their favorite spots, put together a “Trip List”…then we go for it! So many exciting sights in this great city of LA!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to dedicate this article to all those who have experienced tragedies and continue to inspire others. As a cancer survivor, turned “Thriver”, I do all I can to be an example for others going through any struggle!
