We had the good fortune of connecting with Pegah Eidipour and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Pegah, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
Growing up in Iran, I was constantly surrounded by the very rich Eastern art and culture. From old buildings within the city ornate with detailed tile and plaster work, artists performing within the streets, museums, and galleries, it seemed as if your everyday life was filled with artistic creativity waiting to inspire the ones who would open their eyes and heart to such splendid sights and it was from very early on that I knew for sure that my main goal and passion in life was sharing this beauty with as many people as I could through my own artistic creations and writings. Thus I pursued my education and career in the fields of art and art history, founded my own brand, and created collections of handmade works of art inspired by the beauty and details of the Eastern art and culture.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
As mentioned earlier, I have a great passion for sharing the beauty of Eastern art and culture with the public and my artworks are the way through which I do so. I have based the foundation of my brand on originality and uniqueness of design, quality of material, and detailed execution which would set each artwork apart from the other. Having maintained this foundation throughout my years of being active as an artist and participating in several exhibitions is what I am truly and mostly proud of. What I have learned in the process is that it is not always easy to share your message with the audience since everyone has their own interpretations depending on many factors. But I always make sure to the best of my ability to communicate my vision and take my audience on a creative journey, hoping that my art would find its way into their hearts and minds.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Nature is one of my main sources of inspiration and that is why I make sure to spend atleast an hour of my day going for a walk or a hike. That is why if I were to recommend a place to visit, it would be one of the many trails or parks that I have explored. I think that in these busy times, we could all use a bit of silence and peace in our daily lives. Apart from that, I would for sure recommend the many great museums, galleries and botanical gardens in both LA and Orange county areas. From the well known and established museums such as The Broad, MOCA, Getty, etc, to Huntington library and last, but for sure not least, the monthly art walks of Laguna Beach, I think that everyone will find something to enjoy!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Huge shoutout to my father, mother and brother for always supporting me, encouraging me and pushing me to be the best version of myself in any aspect of my life!
