We had the good fortune of connecting with Pili & Evelin Moms. Best Friends. Co-Owners and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Pili & Evelin, every day, we about how much execution matters, but we think ideas matter as well. How did you come up with the idea for your business?
We are Pili & Evelin, and we are Co-Owners of “Eco Balance” Our families were the reason number one to create Eco Balance. Unfortunately, asthma and allergies run in our families. After many tests, we discovered that conventional cleaning products were affecting us. For this reason, we decided to make a change in our lives as well as help others at the same time.

Eco Balance is a company that focuses on a healthy and happy lifestyle, where your family can be surrounded by natural ingredients and at the same time help the environment.
We are different than others because our small company makes our products in small batches so we make sure the ingredients are fresh and as well as list all of the ingredients on our glass bottles. It means you can REUSE, REDUCE AND RECYCLE !!

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
We are mompreneurs! Our families were the reason number one to create Eco Balance. We tried several “safe” cleaning products in the last few years but realized it was better to make our cleaning products because we knew exactly what was going into each product.

Was it easy? No, it has not been a smooth road because it took some time to convince our community to give it a try as well as starting our brand a year before the pandemic occurred, not many people trusted natural cleaning products.

What we have learned is to keep in mind that this takes time and you don’t know exactly how long.
Never give up and keep working on your goals even though you don’t see your results immediately. Always believe in yourself and go for it!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
We live in Southern California,. The best weather in the world means that we have the beaches! But also places like Palm Spring is perfect too as a giveaway. If you have kids, the best place to go is Disneyland, and if you don’t have kids you can have fun there too! l.A and San Diego have a lot of things to do!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Wow. It is a good one! The first shoutout is for our families. We are moms with a busy schedule and another job besides but the passion for help and sharing our products with others is the reason why we keep going with this journey. Our Eco Balance community deserves another shoutout because they believe in us no matter what!
