We had the good fortune of connecting with Rebekah Stock and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Rebekah, putting aside the decision to work for yourself, what other decisions were critical to your success?
I wanted to be happy. I wanted my kids to see me happy. I wanted my kids to see their mother succeed and pursue a dream, no matter how crazy the idea seemed. I don’t want my kids to settle in life, so it was imperative for me to demonstrate that for them.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I had a dream. Literally. I dreamt I opened my own crystal shop just down the street from where I live. I woke up more excited than I’d been in a long time. That was it. I started working making it come true. My tribe was there cheering me on the entire process. In 3 months, I was up and running. I started doing vendor pop up events. And in 2 short months, I expanded from one table of crystals, to two tables of crystals, candles, oracle cards, pendulums, grids, and jewelry. My business name is the middle names of my kids (Graye Rayne). My logo has the 7 chakras in it (a cloud with 7 rain drops).

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Being in Southern California, our options are limitless. We would go to Ojai, Solvang, Ventura, beaches, mountains, and definitely pop up events. I would love to show them local people who have started their own business, and support them. We would eat at food trucks and drink craft beer and wine. Main Street in Newhall would definitely be a night out.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My tribe! My friends Tisha, Jill, and Tracy. My kids, my husband, my sister, my parents, my in laws, and my niece. They have all supported me since I “had a dream”.
