We had the good fortune of connecting with Red Rodriguez and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Red, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
I would say passion is and has been the main factor behind my “success”.\
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I never considered what I was doing in the cannabis space as a “Career” I always felt that a career was contingent on having a degree or something. I got into this space early on because someone really liked the way I looked in a lab coat but I quickly became enamored with the culture and my curiosity about this new industry & affection for the plant quickly turned into passion and ambition. I now work at GRAV where I oversee brand partnerships. GRAV is an industry leader in smoking accessories and I’m proud to work for a company that celebrates my passion and ambition & makes products I can stand behind. GRAV is available in 4000 headshops in the Unitedstates & found in 25 different countries.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
First thing first, let us get hungry lol. The best cannabis shopping experience in Los Angeles is at Atrium in Woodland Hills, the store is enormous & has become known as the best buy of cannabis because it has thousands of options to choose from. After you have burned up some hunger, float your way over to Papi’s tacos & order the OG plate, I promise you won’t be disappointed. That Og plate will need to be walked off & the LACMA is a perfect place to do it! The observatory is a great place to see the sunset & my favorite place to end the night is Eighty-two, an arcade bar with retro arcade games and pinball machines, their DJs are always playing the right tunes.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
