Meet Rick “Wind” Herrera and Alexandra Gutierrez “Spiritual Cloud” | Podcasters, Artists, Content Creators

We had the good fortune of connecting with Rick “Wind” Herrera and Alexandra Gutierrez “Spiritual Cloud” and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Rick and Alexandra, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
The reason we began creating content as a team started with the Podcast. Rick was reaching out to a variety of Podcasts to interview him so he can put himself out there more and most of the time heard silent no’s. He then said wait I should start my own podcast. He told me about it and I jumped on board. Our Podcast came from the drive to create, not wait for someone else to open the door for us and more importantly highlight the everyday people like us. In society we glorify celebrities but we don’t really know them. We wanted to highlight our everyday people, their journeys, the challenges, successes, lessons and successes.

We believe that when you want something you have to go after it. When you have faith, passion, perseverance, the drive and motivation to put in the work nothing can stop you, only you.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
We have our own individual stories as actors, writers, producers and directors and have brought our knowledge to the table by joining forces and working together as a married couple, parents and creators of the Wind & Cloud Podcast and currently on our web-series called ” Dad-rahpy.”

We were both at a stage in our lives where we put in a lot of work in our craft and careers. Rick already had acted, produced and written two one man shows. Alexandra worked on multiple commercials, theater and film productions

As a two-person crew there are a lot of responsibilities to take on which can be challenging at times especially if you’re a married couple.

However, by being honest, communicating and knowing our limitations we are able to work together more efficiently.

The fact that we are passionate, love and believe in what we do makes it even more special.

Our podcast has gone on a journey of its own that has flourished so beautifully. What makes us different from others is that our work comes from a place of honesty, laughter, vulnerability and spirituality. We like to laugh have fun but also get deep into why and what makes people do what they do. We have one hundred different stories of amazing human beings, some of which have played an important role in our lives and others whom we didn’t know at all. Not only do the guests of our show walk away with a mirror and recap of how far they have come, we also learn so much from their experiences that we can apply to our own lives.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
We would like to dedicate our shoutout to our master spiritual teacher Guru Enlightment. Who has helped us on our journeys individually and as a couple.

With her guidance , teachings and lessons that have come from our Higher Power, Spiritual Guides and Guardian Angels we have learned so much about ourselves and how to navigate all the lessons that have come our way.
