We had the good fortune of connecting with Robin Johnson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Robin, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
We found something that we all were passionate about as “consumers” and decided to put our own spin and flair on a concept that we loved & decided to share our personal love of food with the world. We knew the basic fundamentals of a successful business consisted of quality to go with the “buzz” that we knew that we could generate. We took our blitz promo and sales experience that had worked successfully with other projects we have worked on and applied it to a food concept and believed in ourselves. The first thought in business was, is it sustainable, is it good, and are we willing to bet on ourselves and double down when we have to.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I have been in nightlife for 13 years and have been Djing for the past 7 years of them. I used the network I have built, the hard work I have been instilled with since childhood & my natural ability to charm almost any room I walk into with my presence. Going from Nightclub host to DJ was a difficult transition because the club owners knew me as one person and the other fellow DJs were very guarded of “new comers” coming in and doing what they’ve been doing for decades before. For the average person I think It’s difficult to “begin nightclub djing” but I kind of had a leg up with bottle service clients already wanting to come and support me and enjoy the clubs I was playing at the same way they did when I was just “working” at a venue, this time I’m able to be all over the country. I learned that being myself will always help, staying true to yourself is a true statement, & people remember the genuine people in this world. I want the world to know that HeartAttak is high energy and will always bring his own unique flavor and personality to every performance.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I’d make sure they went to Bachi Bus of course!!! But any sporting event, you have to see the Crypto Arena, catch a game at SoFi stadium & then enjoy some of the nightlife, Hyde, Doheney Room & HighLight Room. Checking out Santa Monica Pier or even any LA Beach is definitely worth a visit & check out Universal Studios, 6 Flags or Disneyland while in town too.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I personally want to shout out all my co founders; Jermaine, Jimmy, Ashton & TB for us creating Bachi Bus. Then I would like to shoutout the city of San Diego, our first location of Bachi Bus where we to this day have LOYAL & DEDICATED family members who, like us are highly anticipating the return of Bachi Bus to San Diego. Then to the city of LA as well. And then of course I have to shoutout to my family who was in the kitchen since day 1 helping getting us ready to go & everyone employee former and current, without them we wouldn’t be Bachi Bus.
