We had the good fortune of connecting with Roxane Chabassier and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Roxane, how do you think about risk?
When it comes to risk-taking, I’m all about diving in early rather than waiting on the sidelines. Trusting in yourself and your own instincts beats letting circumstances or other people call the shots any day. Life’s too short to play it safe all the time, right?

In my journey so far, I’ve found that taking risks opens doors you didn’t even know existed. Sure, it can be nerve-wracking, but every leap of faith I’ve taken has led to new experiences and opportunities. And let’s be real, when you’re young and hungry, that’s the time to hustle and take those chances.

People often think taking risks is a gamble, but I see it as stacking the odds in your favor. It’s like constantly reloading your luck, ready for whatever comes your way. Sitting back and letting life happen to you? That’s not my style. I’d rather be out there, making things happen.

At the end of the day, it’s about shaping your own story instead of letting someone else write it for you. And hey, if you stumble along the way, that’s just part of the adventure. The important thing is to keep moving forward, one risk at a time.

What should our readers know about your business?
Our journey in the business world has been anything but easy, but it’s been a thrilling ride fueled by relentless pursuit and a keen eye for opportunities. From the outset, we were determined to carve a niche for our agency, constantly seeking out the right avenues and seizing every chance that came our way.

What sets us apart in this competitive landscape is our ability to handle substantial budgets, often exceeding $10 million per month, and collaborate with renowned brands like Bath and Body Works, Alo Yoga, Canon, Grubhub, Nerdwallet and more. However, our greatest challenge wasn’t in securing big budgets; it was in truly understanding our customer base. We honed in on serving Vice Presidents of Marketing within major corporations, recognizing this niche as our sweet spot.

At our core, we’re specialists in navigating the intricacies of large-scale accounts and managing extensive teams. Unlike many other agencies fixated on metrics like ROAS and revenue, our focus lies in elevating brands through strategic branding, creative direction, and channel/funnel strategies. We’re not just about numbers; we’re about crafting compelling narratives and building brand identities that resonate deeply with audiences.

Our journey has taught us invaluable lessons about perseverance, adaptability, and the power of strategic positioning. We’ve learned to embrace challenges as opportunities for growth and innovation, constantly evolving to meet the ever-changing demands of the industry.

What we want the world to know about our agency is this: we’re not just another agency chasing after short-term gains. We’re passionate about making a lasting impact, transforming brands into household names through our unwavering commitment to creativity and branding excellence. Our story is one of resilience, determination, and a relentless pursuit of excellence, and we’re just getting started.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I’d start by taking my friend to Bacari on 3rd Street for some chill vibes and tasty tapas, paired with great drinks. Then, it’s a must to hit up Malibu for beach fun and frozen drinks at Malibu Farm Pier Restaurant. Another day, we’d check out the Getty Center for art and stunning views, and then roam through the lush gardens at the Huntington Library. We’d mix in some local culture with visits to museums and galleries, and maybe catch some live music at night. Of course, we can’t miss out on outdoor adventures like hiking Runyon Canyon. We’d end the week with a relaxed brunch, a stroll through a farmers’ market, and some heartfelt goodbyes.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I have to give a massive shoutout to some incredible individuals whose wisdom has truly shaped my journey: Robert Kiyosaki, Dale Carnegie, Napoleon Hill, and countless others. These aren’t just authors to me; they’re mentors whose insights have been instrumental in transforming my mindset and guiding me towards success.

Books have been my lifeline, my roadmap to personal and professional growth. While platforms like TikTok and YouTube offer snippets of inspiration, it’s the depth and richness of books that have profoundly impacted my perspective. I’ve never been one to skim through 10-minute summaries; instead, I immerse myself in the pages, reading and re-reading until every word sinks in.

What’s remarkable is how each reading unveils new layers of wisdom, each page resonating with fresh meaning. It’s a journey of continual discovery, with each book serving as a beacon of insight and inspiration. Thanks to these authors and their timeless works, I’ve cultivated a mindset that fuels my pursuit of success in every aspect of life.

So here’s to the power of literature and the profound influence of those who pen its pages. Their contributions may be ink on paper, but the impact they’ve had on my life is immeasurable.
