Meet Samora Suber | Somatic Life Coach & Yoga Teacher

We had the good fortune of connecting with Samora Suber and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Samora, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I started my somatic life coaching business, SamoraLife, with the mission to help people feel more clear, connected, and confident in their bodies and their lives. I believe that we all have sacred intelligence within us, and if we learn how to slow down and reconnect to this inner wisdom, we’ll live longer, healthier, and happier lives.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
SamoraLife incorporates research-based somatic tools and techniques to help people heal trauma, anxiety, stress, low self-worth, and interpersonal relationship issues by focusing on their body, breath, and beliefs.
Somatic life coaching focuses on setting goals, changing habits, re-aligning beliefs, and developing interpersonal skills while integrating body & breath healing.
By enhancing your energy and emphasizing emotional clearing, I help clients release the energetic blockages that keep them from moving forward.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Los Angeles has so many cool spots. I love the outdoors, so I would take visitors hiking. My favorite hikes are Wisdom Tree and Eaton Canyon. I also love the Malibu coastline so I can always drive up the coast to relax on any of the beaches. I also love to eat good food, So many good eating options, but my staples for visitors are Bestia, Yunomi Handroll, and The Surfing Fox – located in Pierside Hotel Santa Monica.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I’m very blessed to have so many people in my life who support me and love me unconditionally. I have to recognize three people in particular who have had a profound impact on my journey into wellness entrepreneurship. First is my friend and mentor, Cynthia Santiago-Borbón, who essentially exposed me to the path of life coaching in 2012. Second, is one of my best friends, Natalie Holbrook, who is my biggest cheerleader, wise counsel, and overall fun time. Third, is my sister, Ayo, she is the smartest person that I know, my favorite person to share ideas with, and she’s my forever support system.
