We had the good fortune of connecting with Samya Mohamed and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Samya, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
I pursued a creative career because I admire my passion for expressing myself through various creations. I found joy in painting, designing, fitness, and photography. As I grew older, I realized that pursuing a career in the world of Digital creators would allow me to continue to explore my creativity more while also making a living doing something I love. I am constantly inspired by the world around me and enjoy the challenge of bringing my unique visual perspective to my work. Overall, I am grateful for the opportunity to pursue a career that allows me to combine my passion with my profession.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
My biggest accomplishment this year is finalizing my Activewear Brand “STOLETICS”

Starting my Activewear Line started for my love of fitness. I found myself wearing fitness and loungewear more than anything else daily. Having my fitness sponsorships as a content creator played a big part in this as I spend countless hours in the gym and doing physical activities outdoors. I wanted to make activewear I can wear to workout but also enjoy wearing out randomly. I’ve implemented some amazing fabrics, styles and colors I hope everyone would love as well.

What I found challenging was getting the right fabrics, making the right designs, etc. Making time to do the research and testing products have made the process more smooth and efficient for me now. overall it’s been coming together very well and I will be launching “STOLETICS” this July of 2023 so I am very excited for that and can’t wait to share it with my community.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I explore a ton so my favorite spots are always changing. Here are a few things/places I enjoy in LA.

I’d go hiking at Glendale Peak via Riverside it’s so calming and peaceful with a 3.9 mile walk.

Head over to Sparrow Cafe” it’s located inside Malibu Racquet Club” All the food is amazing and the view is beautiful. I love the Almond Blast smoothie with a shot of espresso however they have a few other unique smoothies you can try as well.

Point Dume Beach is absolutely an exceptional place to be. Crystal waters and clean beach is everything I can ask for.

Fairmont Century Plaza Los Angeles” whether you are staying the night or want a fun experience Its a beautiful place to be. I’d recommend a drink or dinner at the Lumière offers a taste of a traditional French-inspired fare blending the best of the old world and new world.

World of Illusions Los Angeles” has some really cool 3D illusion rooms and other interactive activities. Fun for photos and exploring art.

Swan Boat Rental in Echo Park is super cute I go alone for mindfulness but you can take friends for a more fun experience.

Venice beach is always my go to boardwalk. so most definitely check it out and all the beach shops your going to love it.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Let’s start with my social media community. Without them I wouldn’t be close to where I am today.
