Hi saniyah, can you share a quote or affirmation with us?
yes i do have two favorite quotes. i remember writing this in my journal and walking home from school reciting it since 5th grade! “Watch your thoughts, they become your words; watch your words, they become your actions; watch your actions, they become your habits; watch your habits, they become your character; watch your character, it becomes your destiny.” as well as “Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.”

What should our readers know about your business?
i have a clothing business and an aspiring jewlery/grillz business… as well as an actress. what sets me apart from others is my creative & dreamy perspectives of life. i feel am a mix of optimism and pessimism which balances out for me and benefits others around me for a fact. i really hear alot i don’t live in reality hahaha but i really grew to embrace that. it’s truly duality to my limitless mindset, in building connections & approach to life in general. it’s easy to feel comfortable with me & relate through me, i have been through experiences that requires extensive thought, often i face experiences that are more than meets the eye, which is actually unbelievable for some individuals to believe that i’m human & we all go through life, crazy right? in many ways, life is what you make it! i make it look effortless. i’m most proud of being me, my mind, ambition & my potential in which i’m growing to reach!
business wise, i took a break for some months to tend to myself, daughter & travel. im back though! i am still reaching heights & strategies to grow where i will be, soon. i’ve made authentic connections throughout the process which is also important in success. i’ve learned a lot of lessons. about people, business etc. knowing that regardless of what obstacles or circumstances of life thrown at me or done to me, nothing will override my program & what i know gotta get done to reach my end goal…

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
if my best friend was coming down to visit.. hmmm, i’m a lil healthy foodie so we’re going to Simply Wholesome, we hittin up Bristol Farms, Taco Mell, & C.O.D seafood to say the least! we’re going to go hit up a few of my favorite thrift stores, ya know! you gotta be able to make it make sense to roll with me. i’ll take em to a beautiful view, like the getty or griffith. definitely spending a day in santa monica/marina del rey! absolutely. a few museum gems & hands on creative pottery classes, we’re shopping every where in LA, we’re doing a luxury Spa day! i’ll even set em up an appointment with my girl Louna on the nails & toes! now, nightlife? we are outside with them people so i don’t even gotta speak to much on that! phenomenal times… all i have to do now is find my bestfriend.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
absolutely! man life is not easy & the least we can do is show gratitude through out! i give a great shout out to my my daughter Ava, my cousin Trell, my friends that never fail to be a listening & humbling ear, Kami & Hannah, & my mentor/uncle Terry Flenory! They always show me love, never fail to reignite the light in me when it’s dark, and always answer the phone!
