Meet Satya Reyes | Esthetician & Energetic healer/Spiritual Teacher

We had the good fortune of connecting with Satya Reyes and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Satya, where are your from? We’d love to hear about how your background has played a role in who you are today?
I grew up on 5 acres in Michigan, surrounded by nature. I wish I would’ve understood then how important it is to have a connection to nature and in fact that I indeed AM nature, but then in that case, I may have never left to venture to Los Angeles. My first and everlasting love is the trees, water and all the animals in my life, whether the deer stopping at the salt lick on their way through my childhood yard, the majestic red cardinals, or the MANY animals we kept as family over the years.
I’ve always loved all things natural and also found my connection to spirit there.
So it makes sense to me that I would gravitate toward a career that embraces both nature and spirit with clean and natural skin care as well as offering energetic and spiritual support.
What should our readers know about your business?
During the COVID lockdown, my business was deeply affected, as many were, because the spa I worked at for 6 years was closed for most of it. I had plans to play a bigger role there, rent more space, do more workshops and create a crystal healing boutique in collaboration with the owner. Unfortunately the space was downsized and there was no longer the opportunity I was counting on. This inspired me to reassess. It’s been challenging!
While taking a 3 month online business course, I realized that I’m still interested in offering my services to women addressing their Skin and Spirit needs and have re-branded as Radiant Beauty Ritual – Empowering women to claim their Radiant Beauty with Clean Skin Care and facials, Energetic Clearing, Daily Ritual and Spiritual Coaching.
So I’m back at square one, re-building but feeling super excited to be apart of a healing community that I feel in alignment with
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I love Hermosa Beach and would definitely take my friend from the airport directly to Palmilla for the most delicious handmade tortillas with sweet butter and a Margarita De la Casa. From there we’d walk down to the sand to watch the Sunset
Visiting Practical Magic for the good vibes and a tarot reading by @mothertarotreeder is a must
Breakfast at the Yellow vase in Redondo Beach village followed by some shopping in the town
It wouldn’t be a true first time visit if we didn’t head to Venice Beach where we would rent roller skates and take in the colorful scenery
I love the Source for Tea and the most delicious gluten free sweet potato bread
And a full day reading at the beach before getting our nails done at Nail bay followed by Gelato at Paciugo
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Most recently I’m inspired by Dr. Jessica Peter who has invited me to join her at Heal East West in Manhattan Beach as she creates a space that was inspired by the desire to live well, and to do so intentionally & holistically. I feel so blessed that Radiant Beauty Ritual is a part of this growing community where we can all uniquely serve in service to radiant health. Jessica is graceful, abundant, generous and devoted to her own health as well as supporting others.
Though I’m quite a bit older than she, I joke that I wanna be like her when I grow up.
