Hi Seth, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?
At Studio 6 Productions, our work is rooted in preserving moments that truly matter. We focus on capturing life’s most important days, such as weddings, milestones, and meaningful events, in a way that allows people to relive them fully, not just through short clips or highlights we make, but through complete full length edits.

Having a full-length video gives families the chance to experience every emotion again. It allows them to hear the words that were spoken, notice reactions that may have gone unnoticed in the moment, and feel the atmosphere of the day as it actually unfolded. Over the years, hearing back from clients about how special and meaningful their videos have become, both to them and to their loved ones, has reinforced why we do this work.

I genuinely believe that preserving these memories is how we show up for our community and the world. By capturing and safeguarding moments that can never be recreated, we help ensure they can be revisited, shared, and passed down for generations.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My work is centered on storytelling, specifically preserving moments in their entirety, not just the highlights. What truly sets me apart is the way we deliver our films. In addition to cinematic highlight videos, we also provide full-length films that capture the complete experience of an event from start to finish. These films leave no moment behind. At any meaningful event, there are countless small but powerful interactions that can easily be forgotten. Preserving those moments, the ones that often matter most, is what I’m most proud of.

Professionally, getting to where I am today was anything but easy. Starting this business was the biggest risk I’ve ever taken. I put everything on the line with no guarantee it would work, and there were moments where the fear of failure felt very real. I worked relentlessly to get the word out, reaching out to everyone I knew, building relationships, and pushing myself far outside my comfort zone. The process was challenging and demanding, but that commitment and persistence are exactly what brought me here.

Along the way, I’ve learned some invaluable lessons. One of the most important is that people remember how you make them feel, especially on the most important days of their lives. Because of that, professionalism under pressure is non-negotiable. Another key lesson is the value of clear communication. In this industry, strong communication builds trust, keeps everything running smoothly, and creates long-lasting relationships with clients.

At its core, my brand is about trust, intention, and care. We are a full-service videography company focused on creating timeless, documentary-style films that authentically reflect each event we capture. Whether it’s a wedding, a corporate event, or a once-in-a-lifetime milestone, our goal is to preserve every meaningful detail so those memories can be revisited and shared for years to come. I want people to know that this work is personal to me, and that I treat every story I’m trusted with as something truly worth protecting.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend were visiting Los Angeles, my goal would be to show them why this city never gets old, even for the people who live here. Honestly, every time I think about this question, I change my mind, because LA has so many different sides to it and that’s what makes it special.

I’d definitely take them out into nature early on. One of the things I love most about living here is how easy it is to escape into the hills for a hike and still be back in the city an hour later. Whether it’s a trail with views of the skyline or something closer to the ocean, those moments really capture the balance LA offers. After a hike, grabbing a sweet treat is a must. There’s something about earning a dessert here that just feels right.

Food would be a big part of the experience. LA has an unreal mix of cultures and cuisines, and some of the best memories are made sitting around a table, trying new spots, and discovering places you didn’t plan on finding. From casual neighborhood gems to spots with incredible ambiance, the variety here is endless, and that’s part of the fun.

At night, I’d want them to experience the energy of the city. The nightlife here has its own energy to it, whether that’s a rooftop drink, a packed dance floor, or a laid-back bar with great music. Every neighborhood feels different, and depending on the night, the vibe completely changes. That’s one of my favorite things about LA, there’s always another version of the city waiting to be explored.

What I’d want them to walk away with is the feeling that LA isn’t just one place. It’s a collection of experiences, cultures. No matter how many times I try to plan the “perfect” thing here, it always changes, because the best parts of this city usually happen when you leave room for spontaneity.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I’d like to dedicate this shoutout to Brian Starkman, my mentor and one of my closest friends. Brian has been a steady source of guidance and perspective throughout both my business journey and my personal life, especially during moments when things felt uncertain or challenging.

He has an incredible ability to bring clarity to difficult decisions, offer honest advice when it’s needed most, and show up consistently with genuine support. His willingness to share his experience and take the time to invest in me has had a lasting impact, not just on how I run my business, but on how I approach life as a whole.

Beyond the mentorship, Brian is simply an exceptional human. His integrity, character, and kindness set a standard I strive to live up to. I’m incredibly grateful for the friendship we’ve built and the role he’s played in my journey. I truly wouldn’t be where I am today without him. This one’s for you, Brian.
