We had the good fortune of connecting with Shante Frazier Arie Warren and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Shante Frazier, how do you think about risk?
Risk taking is so hard, you are betting on yourself. For some of us, betting on yourself is so scary because we’ve worked so hard to get what we do have. If we fail, then what? After spending many years feeling ‘blah’ about work and life, we realized the biggest risk is not betting on ourselves. We started WellCapped working our full-time jobs and are so excited to be transitioning full-time to WellCapped in the near future. In just six months, we’ve accomplished more than we ever imagined, including being cast for a black pitch competition show called ‘Bet on Black’ on Revolt TV. We’ve realized that life is just about getting out of your own head and silencing that little voice in your head that reminds you of every failure you’ve ever had since the 2nd grade. WellCapped is proof of that and we hope to inspire others.

What should our readers know about your business?
WellCapped is what we like to call ‘Rent the Runway for Wigs’. Our members rent wigs for one monthly fee and we handle the sanitization, cleansing, and styling of the wig. This allows our members to get versatile looks that are affordable and convenient. The majority of our wigs are glueless so it’s a low risk way to try out a celebrity wig without breaking the bank.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
This Shoutout goes to Shante’s Aunt Darshanette who sparked the idea for WellCapped.
