We had the good fortune of connecting with Shaun Fabos and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Shaun, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
I pursued a creative career because I can’t not create—it’s just how I’m wired. I started in post-production doing Foley work, but it wasn’t enough. I wanted to shape sound, to be in the music. Mixing became my thing, and that led to producing EDM just for the love of it. Even now, running a studio, I’m still creating, just in a different way. Whether it’s designing a room, curating a vibe, or helping artists develop, it’s all part of the creative flow. I’ve never been able to just clock in and do something I’m not passionate about. Creativity isn’t what I do: It’s who I am.

What should our readers know about your business?
The business we’ve built isn’t your average recording studio. It’s a creative compound. We’ve got everything from state-of-the-art recording rooms and live rooms to a full gym, a dance rehearsal space, an industrial kitchen, and even a podcast studio. But it’s not just about the features. What really sets us apart is the vibe. We didn’t want to build a space that felt corporate or sterile. We wanted artists to walk in and immediately feel something different, like this is where I can create. Every detail, from the color of the couches to the artwork on the walls, was designed to inspire. That’s what I’m most proud of—how the space actually supports the creative process in ways you can’t fake.

Getting here wasn’t easy. We started with a space that was, honestly, a total mess. People walked in and told us we were crazy, that we’d lose everything. But we saw the vision. We rebuilt it from the ground up, and it took years of persistence, word of mouth, and building the right team to get the momentum going. The lesson? Don’t expect success to come quickly, and don’t compromise your vision to get there faster. Trust the process, do the work, and let the results follow. What I want the world to know is this: we didn’t build a studio, we built a movement—a space for creatives to be seen, heard, and empowered. And we’re just getting started.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend were visiting, the first stop would definitely be the studio. Not because it’s my place, but because it’s a vibe you have to experience in person. People walk in and say it’s one of the most incredible spaces they’ve seen, and it’s not just the gear, it’s the atmosphere. We’d walk through the compound, check out the art, maybe catch a live session, or hang out in one of the community lounges. It’s a place that sparks conversation and creativity without even trying.

From there, we’d hit a car meet, park, walk around, and talk shop with other enthusiasts. That’s one of my favorite ways to meet people. We’d smoke some cigars at the lounge, probably run into someone from the industry without even planning it. And then maybe finish with a low-key poker night with the guys. None of it’s flashy, but it’s real. Just good conversation, shared interests, and getting off the phone for a bit. That’s my version of a great time.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Absolutely, my dad deserves the biggest shoutout. He’s the one who taught me what persistence really looks like. I watched him build and sell a company through sheer grit, and that work ethic stuck with me. When we started the studio, it was his belief in the vision and in me that kept it moving, even when it felt impossible. He’s been my mentor, my business partner, and the one who always reminds me to keep pushing, no matter how tough it gets. A lot of what we’ve built wouldn’t exist without his drive and influence, and I’m grateful for that every day.
