We had the good fortune of connecting with Stefanie The Life Architect and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Stefanie, what’s the end goal, career-wise?
The end goal is freedom. Freedom of my time. Freedom in my finances, with my emotions and spirit. This freedom seek is not just for me but also for my clients. At the end of my career, I want to be a person who dwells in this freedom space. And who will continue to be a guiding freedom light for anyone who came in contact with me, even when I’m physically no longer on earth.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I’ve been told that I’m different from most life coaches, and I would have to agree. What sets me apart is not subscribing to the traditional healing approaches commonly used for emotional and mental health. I apply my bio-individuality mindset to more than just nutrition. There is no one-size-fits-all approach to healing; in fact, everything isn’t healable. Some stuff can only be pain managed, and that’s okay. What I’m most proud of professionally is the healthy boundary-setting work I’ve done with others. I get so excited and overwhelmed with pride and joy when I receive an email or DM from someone telling me that they were able to tap into their bravery and speak up about their needs. Many have been ignored, overlooked, or never spoken for various reasons, but because of one of my posts, I SAIDI NO! podcast, events, etc., they did it. Helping people access the permission they didn’t know they needed to build, customize, and design their lives their way, not their parents, societies, or social media’s way, keeps me busy professionally. I create safe spaces that lead to vulnerability. From there, a new emotional canvas to paint your freedom story is formed. This is my art contribution to the world. Wife, daughter, sister, friend, aunt, entrepreneur, life coach, speaker, podcaster; all of these are titles I possess, but none of them define who I am. Who am I? I am a brave soul who travels this earth, seeking purpose, connection, happiness, healing, growth, knowledge, inspiration, kindness, pleasure, fun, luxury, understanding, balance, and, most importantly, love. This personal alignment is also what keeps me busy.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
As a woman who has been in New York City all her life, there is absolutely no way any of the typical tourist attractions would be on a friend of mines visit itinerary. Okay, maybe Time Square, but that’s it! I’d start with the Sex and The City New York, which includes spending much time in the Meat Packing District on Manhattan. A visit to the Whitney Museum of American Art and or a walk on The High Line, the public park built on a historic freight rail line. Of course, dinner and cocktails are a must, so Asian fusion deliciousness at Buddakan it is. We’d pivot over the real NYC. Lunch at Brooklyn’s Word Up Café to listen to poetry, jazz, and spoken word. Catch your favorite Drag Queens performing at Lips, then head up to Harlem, the Black Mecca, which is always an excellent option for great food, fun, and culture. Lido’s for brunch, The Shrine for Caribbean and R&B performances, DJ, dancing, bites, and drinks. Lastly, no NYC visit is complete without some Bronx bodega visits (respect to all bodega cats) and an official NYC slice of pizza. Clearly, I’ll keep you full and entertained in the Big Apple.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
So many people have contributed and continue to contribute to my evolution. From my husband to my parents, siblings, my mentors, and the family I choose, aka my friends, I have been held up and nurtured in the best ways. But if I must narrow down a group for special recognition, it would have to be my beautiful souls, aka my clients, subscribers, investors, and collaborators. They have encouraged me with their support so many times. When my self-doubt is speaking loudly about anything from a new coaching service, product, event idea, or launch, they pour affirming love into me constantly. Not just with their words but their tangible supportive actions. Their trust in me with the personal stories of triumph and pain, their willingness to give me their precious time and hard-earned money, never ceases to humble me. My gratitude for my beautiful souls can not be limited to words. I love them to life.
