We had the good fortune of connecting with Stretch S.H.P.,DJ Cadillac G, Nicholas Schiappa and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Stretch S.H.P.,DJ Cadillac G, Nicholas Schiappa, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
We wanted to have our own comedy show! I mean it was probably Stretch more then anybody but but we all love comedy! I suppose in the beginning DJ Cadillac G wanted to play music and Nicky just wanted to hangout, hear comedy, and listen to good music but it grew to something we don’t think any fo us could’ve imagined.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
We are a comedy show! We specialize in bringing good times, good music, and good food! We started out very small but grew as we kept putting a good show on every month! Funniest comedians, DJ Cadillac G spins the dopest music, and Nicky brings it home with his delicious BBQ! There were some challenges as with any new venture but we were able to over come or better yet adapt to them and move on! You should know that when you come to Cityscape A Comedy Show you are going to have a great night of laughs and enjoyment!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
As a show, I think we would have to give a special shout out to the LA comedy scene. If its wasn’t for how frustratingly beautiful it is the show may have never started. As a young comic you’re paying to get spots and do comedy a lot of times & as an audience member you’re paying a huge cover price & drink minimums to get into the clubs. The bigger clubs run bringer shows which may not have the funniest comics on them but are great money for the club. But what it does is puts a bad taste in the mouth of audiences cause they go pay big bucks and don’t get the laugh in return. There is a lot of funny people in LA who are working hard to get funnier that you may not see at a bringer show cause they don’t know a lot people. What we tried to do is give funny comics a place to perform & audiences a great show for a low cost, free!
