We had the good fortune of connecting with Sylvia & Javier Cruz and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sylvia & Javier, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The most important factor behind our success is faith, dedication, professionalism and willingness to take risks. We pride ourselves that with God by our side anything is possible. We dedicate our time in every item that enters our inventory. We view products and think would our clients like this and enjoy it? We are 100% professional when communicating with our clients from start to finish yet it feels like we’ve known them forever. Lastly, we always take risks in order to improve and grow our company. We believe without risks there is now reward. We left our fears at the door when we started Luxe Bounce house and Decor. All of our savings went into creating this amazing company and that was a huge risk we had to take & we are glad we did!

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
We are a family owned business who pride ourselves on the best Luxe kids & adult party rentals! Our customer service & variety of inventory from bounce houses to SoftPlay setups to backdrops and decor definitely sets us apart to be the best in town! We are literally and one stop shop that will make you come back for more!!

Although, we make Luxe Bounce House and Decor look easy to maneuver and glamorous it took a lot to get here. When we started in July 2021 it was just a small family with big dreams running around town with a pickup truck delivering as much as time allowed us too with little to no knowledge of the business. However, we knew we wanted to grow from the start. So we offered huge discounts to get our business name out there! We had a plan-
1. make Luxe Bounce House and Decor a name to remember
2. Provide excellent service & memorable great customer service that our clients would always want to choose us again and again
3. GROW, GROW, GROW!!!

We began with just 4 Bounce Houses and a pick up truck. All the deliveries were made by us. Javier will literally deliver, carry, fold and put away these bounce house by himself- and these bounce house aren’t light. Jayleen will be the face of our company that all of our clients would love to see. Sylvia was the one handling all the invoices and communicating with the clients. We hit a lot of hurtles with our pick up truck, fitting all of our bounce houses in just one truck, late nights and setups were insane! We pushed through with faith and leaned on each other. We are so glad we did because we are now a one stop shop that leaves our clients coming back for more luxe rentals!!

We eventually started growing little by little that we were able to invest in more inventory-different style bounce houses- and was able to buy a box truck! When we bought our box trust it just felt like we made it! No more heavy lifting and we just felt so accomplished being able to see our name Luxe Bounce House and Decor on our truck driving all over LA County and beyond. People would finally know who we are when driving up to their homes!

We want people to know we take our family business very seriously and care for their events as if it is our own. We try our best to exceed our clients expectations and offer them luxe events at a reasonable price. We are family that loves what we do and every ounce of it goes into our business.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
We want to give a huge shoutout to our daughter, Jayleen. She has been our motivation through it all. When we first started our business we will work long hours, driving from LA County to Orange County to Riverside county and beyond. There were some days we wouldn’t get home until 1am after all the deliveries and pickups. We knew we asked a lot from her. She was just shy of Turing 4 when we started and she never complained or cried from the long hours in the road or the long wait times between pickups. She was honestly a trooper who loved to setup our bounce houses and take them down. She is our little CEO.

We also want to give a shout-out to our team member, Miguel! Miguel started with us a few months into the business and has hands down helped our business grow to were it is now. He is the most amazing person we could have added to our team; he cares for our business as his own and stands by our model-faith, professionalism and overall excellence.

Eduardo-Our family member who is one phone call away if we need any extra hands. Truly blessed to be able to count on him!

Lastly, our CLIENTS because without them we wouldn’t be here! Thank you for putting your trust in us to make your events extra special! Thank you to our returning CLIENTS for believing in our small family business (from the beginning) and watching it blossom to what it is now.
