We had the good fortune of connecting with Tatiana aka “Miss” Rodgers and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Tatiana aka “Miss”, what matters most to you?
Truth is absolutely the most important principle for me. Because if I can stand on Truth, nothing can move me. Truth survives. Truth thrives. Everything else is just a facade that eventually dies, with time.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
As a formerly homeless and incarcerated single mother, nothing has been easy. Self Care, Perseverance, Radical Honesty and Accountability were all key to my personal rehabilitation. The most important lesson learned thus far is other people’s inability to see the vision is precisely why God only gave it to YOU. In pivotal times such as the kind we’re living now, I take great pride in Miss Rodgers’ Neighborhood being a active voice and advocate for our under served Communities. While most nonprofits have had to back off a bit and temper their responses (to injustice and inequality) in hopes of not upsetting potential donors or corporate partners; Our Work, Commitment and Efforts have been amplified. We’re in this fight FOR REAL. The only thing I want the world to know is Miss Rodgers’ Neighborhood is in this for the long haul, and we’ll be here any time You or a loved one are in need.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
