We had the good fortune of connecting with Taylor Florence and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Taylor, what is the most important factor behind your success?
By far the most important factor to our success is our personal touch with the families/ clients we support. We are with them each step of the way through their journey. Our personal and hands on approach to helping families navigate the challenges of finding the right senior care options makes all the difference in the world.
What should our readers know about your business?
We compete with massive online senior referral agencies who send out a massive list of options to families and then leave them to figure it out on their own… Our personal/ hands-on approach is what sets us apart, but competing with huge companies who have bottomless pockets for marketing makes it difficult for us to get referrals of new families to help. But at the end of the day our challenge has become our greatest strength… client families love our personal approach and slowly our model of help and support to families is spreading. Our goal is to get to families first so as to save them the frustration of dealing with the bad experience of large online hands-off referral agencies.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
We love to host family and friends from out of town… the ideal itinerary would include multiple beach days at some of our favorite beaches in San Clemente. Dinners at our favorite restaurants which include Nicks, Baja Fish Tacos, and Fresh Brother’s Pizza. Then of course some backyard dinners with food slow smoked on our Trager Grill.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
No question that my wife and three daughters deserve all the recognition in the world. Health Care is 24/7 and so I have to be available to families/ clients occasionally at very inconvenient times… but my family is also super supportive.
Additionally, I have to thank the many families I’ve had the honor of helping over the years who have shared my information around to others in need. Without that word of mouth marketing from families we would not have seen the success that we’ve seen.
