We had the good fortune of connecting with The Spider Accomplice and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi The Spider Accomplice, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
We both grew up with music as an integral part of our lives. So much so, that we realized it was built into our identities, and we knew we had to do what we loved.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
The Spider Accomplice is a hard rock/metal band with symphonic elements abs a lead female blues-influenced voice. That alone makes us oddballs, but then we are also a duo.

The two of us write and perform all the material together as a unit. There is a height disparity of a solid foot between us, and so visually, conceptually, and stylistically, we are difficult to label and categorize.

But we feel that is our strength- these things that make us strange also are the truths that we live, and authenticity is at the heart of our success.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Arno (the male half of the band) is known for his appreciation and knowledge of chicken wings, so he would take our friend on a guided tour of the best wing spots. Then we’d hit the Rainbow for the visit to Lenny, and finish the week off with a private show at our rehearsal studio.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
The band has had unfailing support fr our fans since day 1, and they have made it a lot easier to keep going.
