We had the good fortune of connecting with Tiffany Chasson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tiffany, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I started a podcast called Stressful to Successful with my boyfriend Jaden D’Amico this year. We wanted to start a discussion about what success means to different people and the work it takes to get there. So many people think that success is over night due to everything we see on social media. Jaden and I interview people of success and ask them questions about their childhood, how they got to where they are and obstacles they faced along the way. We want to inspire people of all ages that you can do anything you want in life. You just have to put in the work.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I have been acting since I was 12, but nothing in the entertaiment industry has come easy to me. What sets me apart is that I turn rejection into redirection; I don’t give up easily. I have gotten to where I am through lots of hard work and a great support system. My family and manager are my rock. I have been told some awful things to my face about why I don’t have what it takes to make it in this industry. Sometimes you just have to block out the noise and stay in your lane. One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is to make sure your team believes in you; just because an agency has a great reputation, doesn’t mean they are the right agency for you. Also, you know what’s best for you, trust your gut. I want the world to know that nothing worth having comes easy. I feel so lucky and grateful to be in this industry, but it takes a village.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Ok, my favorite day of the week in LA in Sunday. So I am going to give an itinerary for a perfect Sunday in LA. First we would stop at my current favorite matcha place, LaLa Kind Cafe on Montana. They have about 15 different matcha lattes on their menu and I’m obssessed. Next up is the farmer’s market. My favorite one is in Brentwood and they have the best florals and produce, and prepared foods. Then, we would go back to my place and put all the farmer’s market goods away and head to the Melrose Trading Post, arguably the best thing to do in LA on a Sunday. It’s basically a massive flee market that has anything and everything. Next up is dinner at Craig’s, one of my favorite spots in West Hollywood. The vibes are just perfect. Then we would head back to my place and have dessert on my rooftop.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to give the biggest shout out to my parents. They support me with everything I do and I am so lucky they chose to be my parents. My parents enrolled me in an acting class in Los Angeles when I was 12, and I fell in love with the craft. They drove me to classes weekly and to all of my auditions, giving me so much support and guidance along the way. I love you mom and dad!
