We had the good fortune of connecting with Tiffany Ingram and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tiffany, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor behind my success and the success of my brand is staying true to who I am and my brand. It is so easy to get keep caught up in what everyone is doing on social media or in the industry. Tiffany loves being natural with no make-up and braids. Some may see it as unprofessional, but I see it as being true to who I am. Our clients loves us for being relatable, honest, and authentic.

Please tell us more about your work. We’d love to hear what sets you apart from others, what you are most proud of or excited about. How did you get to where you are today professionally. Was it easy? If not, how did you overcome the challenges? What are the lessons you’ve learned along the way. What do you want the world to know about you or your brand and story?

Our journey has not been easy. We’ve overcame numerous obstacles by praying, staying consistent with our brand, and investing. In this industry you must be open to learning. We have invested in numerous workshops and classes to stay update with the latest trend, perfect our craft, and become certified wedding and event planners. We often set limitation on ourselves and become our biggest critic.

At Celebrations By Tiffany, we don’t just create beautiful events. We create memories, an experience, a moment in time that our clients cherish for a lifetime.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?

We would first visit the National Harbor in Oxon Hill, Md and have brunch at Osteria Costa. I love their live entertainment and bottomless mimosas.

Next, we would head to the casinos for some fun. Let’s not forget Tanger Outlet. Who doesn’t love shopping? I’m also a kid at heart so it is only right to hit up Dave n Busters. Finally, we would end the night with some cocktails and laughter.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to shout out my husband, James. Ever since we were kids, James made clothes and had his own business. I watched him grow and pour his heart and dedication into his own clothing business. Over the years, James would continuously give me the speech on why I should start my own business, but I was comfortable with my 9 to 5. It wasn’t until 2019 when the government suffered another devasted blow due to the furlough and here comes James again with the speech about entrepreneurship. This time, it hit me, and I prayed on it and decided to start Celebrations by Tiffany. James continuously motivates me and pushes me to new limits. I vowed to never give someone else power over my financial situation.
