Meet Tiffany Mattick | Speaker, Coach, Thought Leader

We had the good fortune of connecting with Tiffany Mattick and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Tiffany, what do you attribute your success to?
It’s never too early to build a strong reputation. My personal brand really started evolving once I leaned farther into my innate gifts. This journey to find ME required a lot of work, but as I did the work, I shared my journey on social media. What I didn’t realize as I shared my career transformation I was building the “know”, “like”, “trust” factor with my network. Never wait for an idea or a business to be birthed into perfect existance. Start where you are with what you have…it will evolve and grow and change overtime. Trust the evolution of you and your work.

What should our readers know about your business?
When I was 19, I walked into the career center at Luther College and one of the counselors suggested I pursue a career in Management Information Systems. “OK”, I said. I really had no idea what I wanted to do or be. That choice led me into a successful career in tech at Thomson Reuters.
Then in 2008 I really started to wonder if I was in the right place. I was stressed, in the wrong job and losing hope in my career. After becoming physically ill from the stress, I knew I had to find a better way. I spent 5 years trying to answer the big questions like; Who am I? Why am I here? What is my purpose?
The exploration was deep but I found a whole new world in personal awareness, growth and development. I could see why it mattered in life to know who you are and what gifts you bring to the world.
I was able to transform my career from tech to HR and work with leaders all over the world building their skills and creating a culture that employees wanted to be a part of. It was my dream job. I felt alive at work, finally!
I was always curious about life outside of Thomson Reuters and after 25 years, I decided to go out and see what it was all about.
Almost immediately, There She Grows, LLC was born. The name of this business came to me in a meditation. I’ve never questioned it or wondered about it’s ability to leave a mark on the world. Some things in life come to be through something greater than ourselves, but often we get too busy to see it or find it.
I am a speaker, coach and thought leader. I come to life when people take inspired action to be at their best at home and in life after working together. I believe that if women stepped into their power and brought their gifts to the world with confidence, we’d change the world. I aspire to role model this behavior every day.
I spend my days doing 1:1 coaching women through their own career transformation, group coaching and speaking at conferences, corporations and other groups.
This quote is what inspired me to find my gifts and bring them to life. I know exactly what brings me to life!
“Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.”― Howard Thurman
I realized I was in the wrong job, this was a breaking point for me. I kept trying and trying to get it, I thought something was wrong with me. I loved my boss and team, but the work was not for me. I was creating very detailed reports for the board. Now I know that reports and a big picture, passionate ideas person don’t go well together. Hard part was, I had no idea what to do about it. I started taking assessments, reading books and working with a coach. I really wanted someone to tell me what I was supposed to be when I grow up. It felt like I was seeking but never finding. 5 years of doing the work, asking hard questions and listening for answers. I was in over-analysis paralysis at this point. Finally I stopped trying to solve the puzzle and instead started taking inspired action against what I loved. The moment i went from obsessive problem solving to inspired action, everything changed. The skies parted and I could finally see.
BE YOU…that is my battle cry and the root of everything I do and everything I am. Authentically YOU!
People are drawn to my charisma, humor, authenticity and vulnerable way of sharing my own stories to help you find the truth in yours. I create instant ease, comfort and connection.
Through speaking and coaching I give women the confidence to shine their truest, best light on the world. I believe that if women stepped into their power and believed in their gifts and abilities, the world would be changed. I give them permission to shine. I help them see who they are, what they love and how they want to be.
I create webinars, courses and experiences to help mid-career women and leaders discover their true gifts and potential. We find what’s possible.
My gift is to inspire action. To find the wisdom in others and bring it to light. This happens 1:1, small group and in large settings too.
Need a speaker for an upcoming event? I create custom content to fit my audiences. You can learn more about me at tiffanymattick.com.
My business was born about 5 minutes before Covid landed. I did not see that coming. Gratefully, I had already been doing leadership development workshops virtually and I was unknowingly already prepared.
Being home more allowed me to be with while my daughter while she finished high school and prepared for college.
I love being in the room with my clients and groups, so it was hard to put the screen between us, but I am hopeful now to have a lot of in-person work planned for this year.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
We would venture to the lake in Northeast Wisconsin. We’d jump on the pontoon, wade on the sandy shores and watch the sunset behind the pines. We’d move through the woods, swatting flies and chatting about life and the pursuit of happiness. We’d observe deer standing at the waters edge, and if we’re lucky enough, a black bear on it’s way to somewhere. We’d listen to the loons, marvel as the eagles soar over and float into the lilypads. We’d build a campfire and wait for the sun to finish it’s day so the stars could begin theirs. We’d sit in awe of the vast open clear sky and find gratitude for the gift of time and beauty.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I had a leader that saw my strengths and capitalized on them. She gave me space to explore, experiment and learn. As a result of her believe in my passion, I was able to do my best work around the world. I was able to inspire leaders to build strong teams and to role-model behaviors that motivate and get results. This experience informs how I serve my clients everyday, I want everyone to know what it feels like to be in a space where they get to shine their gifts on the world. Shout out to Anne Losby for giving me this important space to thrive in.
