We had the good fortune of connecting with Tyler Nix and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tyler, how does your business help the community?
When I first launched Nix Creative, it was just me as a one man, freelance show just trying to make his way finding clients in Los Angeles. It wasn’t until years later that it would blossom faster than I could keep up with, growing to a vast team of creatives working for brands globally. The most gratifying thing about this is that it isn’t large corporations throwing thousands at a campaign without second thought, it is smaller, more methodical companies using all they can scrape up to create a small presence in this overly populated CPG space. As our outreach began reaching to brands across the world, I realized that there has always been one common denominator…a need to be set apart from the thousands of others trying to make it in this space before going bankrupt. Quite the challenge. Ultimately, it is our pride to embrace that challenge with those we partner with. It’s so much more than the content create, it’s the individuals we partner with that we see the most opportunity.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Creating content in the CPG space is oftentimes frequent yet unpredictable. There is never a shortage of companies looking for outstanding content. At Nix Creative, we value relationships and maintaining strong partnerships above all else. Working with one-off clients is fine and is to be expected, however the gratification comes from those who stick around for the long haul. Creating retainer partnerships is never an easy thing and there’s only one way to sell those in our opinion…genuine relationships. On both sides are businesses, however also on both sides there are real people with real lives. Those we partner with we do so in so much more than content, we partner with those individuals in life. If the opportunity is there, we meet in person. If they aren’t local, we ensure ourselves that we learn about those we partner with, and remember what motivates them every day. Creating great content is what gets them through the door, but being a genuinely caring and loving individual is what keeps them around for the long haul. We grow together.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Easy answer. We just eat the best food. Mediterranean bistro followed by a whiskey bar.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Much to the relative success of any start-up, there have been so many mountains to conquer before even remotely peaking the surface. Those small victories are never fought or won alone. Since launching in 2020, there are an infinite number of individuals I could credit over the years. In short, I thank you all for helping the vision become reality. The growth has been so quick and I could not be able to contain it and use it for the good of Nix Creative without the help of those around me. I simply could not do this on my own and the narrative will remain the same for years to come as we continue to grow.
