We had the good fortune of connecting with Ty$tone and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Ty$tone, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
I’ve always had an interest in music but did not know if it was what I wanted to do. When my brother passed away, it motivated me to pursue music since he always believed in me and saw my potential. He was someone I looked up to so I did it to make him proud.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I make music that reflects my own life. My music is different because it is about my experiences. It tells others about my feelings which would normally be hard for me to talk about. I got where I am today by being dedicated and working with like minded people to keep excelling. It was not easy for me especially where I come from. It is very hard to find genuine support. I overcame this by keeping my circle small and believing in my vision. Along the way I have learned I am in control of my own success and if I continue to believe in myself I’ll go far. I want the world to know my music comes from the heart. Also, for anyone who has experienced similar things as me that they are no alone.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I don’t really like to explore my own town so I’d say let’s explore other parts of the world lol
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to shout out my brothers Larenz and Joel. Without them, I would have never started making music.
