We had the good fortune of connecting with Victor Artis and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Victor, can you tell us more about your background and the role it’s played in shaping who you are today?
I grew up in Hawaii on the island of Oahu, growing up in such a culturally diverse environment really influenced my outlook on the world and how I see individuals.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I’m a story teller and emotional aesthetic expressionist, I breathe it all into the music I create, I aim to inspire, encourage and awaken through my music. I’m a multi instrumentalist and I sing. One of my proudest achievements so far is doing an entire soundtrack for a film. Also producing and releasing my own music on Spotify & Apple Music

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Millies diner in Pasadena is my favorite breakfast spot’ love their gluten free & vegan options. Love driving to Malibu and hitting the beach. The arts district is currently my favorite night hangout spot.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Family & friends you have supported my artist career
