Meet Vito Glazers | Media Entrepreneur

We had the good fortune of connecting with Vito Glazers and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Vito, we’d love to hear more about your end-goal, professionally.
My end game has always been to positively influence culture through media like television and film. When I think about my end goal, it really just is to create content about topics that will help people live better more prosperous lives; whether that is books, television and films, or social media content.
For most of my life I was really set on doing television. But now I realize it is more important that the right message reaches the right audience, regardless of the platform.
Even so, I am excited to finish publishing my book Follow The Money, a guide to becoming an influencer even if you weren’t born with money or talent, and also praying my television concept, Uncanceled, a show where I give canceled celebrities a platform to tell their side of the story and redeem themselves, comes to life. I would also love to be in more films, it’s just great to be on set and be part of a film family.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
The art of story telling is one of the things that makes humans great. I had the chance to meet Deepak Chopra in NYC once and we discussed the meaning of life, and we both determined and agreed that the meaning of life is to share your story. A one celled organism transfers its DNA when it replicates, and that is the simplest form of sharing a story. Humans make books and shows and films to tell stories and share information. Nothing has more purpose in our lives that the stories we tell and the information we share and pass along.
What sets our productions at Glazers Media apart from other writers or producers, is that we are deeply invested in the stories we tell and produce. They are meant to affect change, influence, provoke thought and inspire. Often times when clients come to us to discuss a media or public relations campaign, they show us work that other companies have done for them in the past. We show them that there is a big difference in just writing words on a page, and telling a story.
The easiest way to explain it, is imagine being at dinner with someone who is just rambling out words, with no direction, no vision, and no point of what they are talking about. They are just making noise. How boring does that get? The same goes for telling a story in print or in media; without being able to take the audience on a journey, there is just filler. The audience deserves a story, and we provide that.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I love high end places like Waldorf Astoria and the Soho House and dive bars like The Woods and Jumbos Clown Room and everything in between. I love Hollywood’s rich history, so I always encourage people to visit the walk of fame, and try to stay at a poolside cabana at The Roosevelt Hotel.
My guilty pleasure is going to Dave and Busters. That is always a great time with friends. It’s not about where you go, but who you’re with that matters.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I have too many people to thank on my journey. I would never have gotten to where I am without mentors. I am grateful to every single person that selflessly helped me by making an introduction call or email, setting up a meeting with someone for me, taught me a new skillset that I was able to multiply, or who just gave me an encouraging word. Thank you all, you know who you are!
