We had the good fortune of connecting with Vonté Malone and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Vonté, what role has risk played in your life or career?
Taking a risk on something can be scary but some times you just have to step out on faith and believe in your self and your decisions with also a little research behind it, you never know what will happen and for me taking risks has been good and bad in my life/career but way more good and at the end of the day life is all about growing and learning and becoming Wise and taking the knowledge you gained from those experiences and apply them to the new chapters in your life.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I’m most proud of the fact that I came into music not really knowing much and just figuring things out .. and now going Through this journey I’ve learned a lot and still have alot to learn, but just experiencing everything that I have I was able to learn some big lessons early on that will prevent me from doing something that isn’t so beneficial to me as an artist
It took a lot hard work, good times, bad times, being upset because i wasn’t where I would like to be also looking at things from a different perspective and learning a new mind set but I’m here and now people stream me in 96 countries I got a few more to go but I’m so proud of my progress thus far I would like people to know when they hear Vonté Malone .. they hear hard work, they hear pure talent they hear a everyday guy just trying to make it and inspire others

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
First I would take my best friend to Santa Monica pier or Venice beach .. those are the places I feel you get the full Cali feeling in one place so many people And faces and stories ! We also
Would have to hit up some bars in Fullerton. Later in the week gota go
Get some good breakfast from the pan in Long Beach ! CANT forget about tacos! We have the best Mexican food ever it’s one of my personal faves ! Followed by some shopping on Fairfax you always meet cool people there then end it with some relaxing 420 time lol and that’s a wrap folks

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to shout out all the people who have helped me along my journey because with out you all I wouldn’t be where I am

Breezy: always looking out and being supportive and taking super fly pics and be a dope freaky friend over the years

Dre: man ever since we met we have created magic and I appreciate the face that we can’ sit there and coming up with beats and the creativity is crazy can’t wait To see our growth and see what the future holds

Steve: man your one of the most talented engineers out ther always willing to be creative and work together to make something dope I appreciate you !
