We had the good fortune of connecting with Walid Chaya and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Walid, what habits do you feel play an important role in your life?
1. Keep in touch with people I care for personally and professionally
2. Complete at least one task a day to support my career
3. Commit to productive routines with consistency and joy
4. Practice delegation and clear communication
5. Work hard and play hard – it’s all about balance
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I love Manhattan Beach, from a day in the sun and ocean to enjoying a bite at The Kettle which is open 24 hours, their corn bread and french onion soup is a must try. If we’re not at the beach, you’ll find my friends and I exploring a new trail and hiking as we love the outdoors. For tasty treats, I take my friends to Republic of Pie and Mashti Malone’s Ice Cream. Every ‘Taco Tuesday’ is exciting with many different places to choose from across Los Angeles, some of my favorites include Pink Taco and Leo’s Taco Truck located on Pico & La Brea. For exciting places, we often check out cool bars like No Vacancy or Good Times at Davey Wayne’s in Hollywood, and when in doubt, WeHo is always a good time, just “meet me at The Abbey.”
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Dedicated to my family and friends – each of you makes life so special.
