We had the good fortune of connecting with Warren Bub and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Warren, career-wise, where do you want to be in the end?
The end goal for me I guess is just continue to be a working actor. I am not in this for fame. I love what I do and I know that I am blessed getting to do this everyday. I think when people get into any profession, you just want to be successful. Stay the course, remain humble, remember where you come from and never ever take family or friends for granted. So I guess really is that I just want to stay true to myself and stay being me.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Tough question. I think the thing I am. most proud of is never giving up. This is NOT an easy business to be in. There are a lot of ups and downs, probably more downs, but you need to get through them with mental toughness. Think about it, in baseball if you are successful 30% of the time you are a Hall of Fame. In acting you probably book about 10% of your auditions. The way I overcame challenges was educating myself and surrounding myself with people who knew more than me to learn from. My story is that even a kid from The Bronx, NY can do whatever he or she puts their mind to it. Acting is not just a job, it is a lifestyle that you must work on constantly. Never EVER stop learning about the craft.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Well right now with CoVid it is tough but in normal times I would take them down to the city to one of the many great restaurants NYC has to offer. Maybe a show as well. Walk around the city & enjoy the most amazing city life has to offer.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
There are a number of people to thank…so many to name. But the names that immediately come up in no certain order are my acting mentor, Michael Galante. He was instrumental in the early stages of my career, helping me, advising me and showing me the ropes per say. To this day we are great friends and talk regularly. He put me on the early road to success and I can’t thank him enough. He is a name to watch for as he continues to climb the ladder of success. My management team of Jenevieve Brewer and Tracy Heller from. JB Talent and my agent Roger Paul, who have all stood by me and pushed me and have never given up on me, even during the down times. My business partner and one of my best friends, Dennis Grimaldi. Who is a 3-time Tony Award winning Producer who has always been there for me and definitely has made me a much better and aware actor. When we first met we knew nothing about each other but I guess he saw something in me and pushed me to challenge myself as an actor. He without a doubt has made me a better actor and person in every way. Also, Vincent Pastore along with Maureen Van Zandt have been instrumental as well welcoming me into their Theatre group Renegade Theatre Company. In addition I would have to. say Joanne Mosconi who gave me my first big break in theatre. And last is my family. Without them and their support there is no way I could be where I am today. Without Family, Who are you?
