Hi Winik Mimy, as a parent, what do you feel is the most meaningful thing you’ve done for them?
As a parent, I believe the most significant contribution I’ve made to my children’s lives is providing them with a strong foundation of value and principles to guide them through life. Being a positive role model and instilling qualities like moral integrity, independence, kindness, responsibility, and generosity can have a profound impact on their development and future choices.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I began my journey in the F&B industry about 35 years ago at my college age, driven by my deep passion for food. Cooking was not taught to me by anyone; instead, I inherited my culinary skills from my talented grandmother. With a love for travel and a palate finely tuned to discern the nuances of flavors, I embarked on a quest to explore and savor the diverse cuisines of the world.

My discerning palate allows me to identify and appreciate the ingredients in every dish I sample, empowering me to recreate and refine them to suit my exotic taste preferences.

Over the years, I sampled numerous chili sauces, but many contained undesirable additives like preservatives, artificial colors, or MSG, which I could detect with my sensitive palate. Unwilling to compromise on taste, I began crafting my own chili sauces, much to the delight of friends who soon became addicted to them. Encouraged by their enthusiasm, I ventured into selling my own custom exotic creations.

Drawing inspiration from my daughter’s name, Madeline, I established my own brand, “MADELICIOUS,” chosen by her during her middle school years.

It took me 2-3 years of continuous refinement to establish MADELICIOUS, but today, we proudly serve customers across the entire United States. Some even take our products overseas as gifts for their families. It’s truly humbling to see MADELICIOUS embraced and enjoyed by so many.

Our chili sauces not only enhance the flavor of meals but are also versatile enough for cooking and creating exotic cuisines. The heartfelt feedback from customers, expressing their enjoyment of our eight distinct chili sauces and snack products, brings me immense joy and gratitude.

My mission now is to continue innovating, introducing new and creative flavors that elevate home dining experiences to restaurant quality. The heartfelt feedback from customers fuels my determination to spread the joy of flavorful meals to households everywhere.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
When my best friend visited the United States, I wanted to show her some of my favorite places, like Sausalito. We dined at The Spinnaker, enjoying its scenic views and romantic ambiance. We also explored the vibrant and artistic city of San Francisco, as well as the lively shopping atmosphere of Santana Row.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to express my greatest gratitude to my children, family, friends, and loyal customers of over 30 years who have always supported and believed in me. Their encouragement has been a source of great motivation, inspiring me to create exotic and unique styles of cooking and gourmet spices to satisfy their cravings for hometown flavors. I feel truly blessed to have so many people seek out my food and various chili sauces. I am deeply grateful and appreciative of their continued support.
