Hi Zara, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I’ve always been passionate about creating unique and thoughtful gifts for loved ones, especially for my two adorable nieces. After years of experimenting with different ideas and gathering feedback from friends and family, I realized there was a gap in the market for personalized, high-quality gift baskets.

My thought process behind starting Peza Shop was centered around providing a meaningful way for people to connect with each other. I wanted to offer a service that would help individuals and businesses show appreciation, celebrate milestones, and build relationships through carefully curated and beautifully presented gifts.

Through extensive research and planning, I developed a business model that focuses on using only the finest products, sustainable materials, and attention to detail to create truly exceptional gift baskets. My goal is to make every recipient feel special and valued, while also providing a seamless and enjoyable experience for my customers.

Starting Peza Shop has been a dream come true, and I’m excited to continue growing and evolving to meet the needs of my customers and the market.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Creativity is at the heart of who I am, and I find immense fulfillment in bringing new ideas to life and applying them on my baskets. My experience in Interior Architecture Design has taught me the importance of attention to detail and innovative thinking. When faced with challenges, I rely on my determination and perseverance to push through. I believe that every setback is a chance to learn and improve, and I’m always eager to take on the next creative challenge.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Hosting a friend in LA would be a dream come true! I’d curate a day filled with beauty and relaxation. First, we’d visit the iconic Getty Center, soaking up the art, architecture, and views. Next, we’d cruise over to Zuma Beach, indulging in fresh seafood and basking in the golden sunset. As a hopeless romantic, I love sharing these enchanting experiences with friends. And with LA’s endless options, I’d persuade my friend to linger a little longer and discover the city’s secrets together.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to acknowledge my husband for being my biggest supporter throughout my journey. He truly believes in my dreams and his unwavering encouragement gives me the confidence to take calculated risks.
