Hi Zhaohong, why did you pursue a creative career?
I love to express myself through the art, while enrich myself by watching and listening creative projects from others, It help me open mine eyes, stimulates mine imagination and be thankful. The moment being hit by the stuff you never heard and saw before, just like open a new world to me every time, I enjoy every moment of that. As return, I also want to create mine imaginative work to inspire others.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Difference score with different stories can generate all kinds of possibilities and that’s why I love film scoring. I always want to delve into how to score the scenes with more hybrid and unique sound. I like to experiment with sound and production, Constant experimentation in this perspective made my music more distinguishable and more unique. Is definitely not easy to get where I am now, but I will consider it was a very enjoyable and fruitful process. Whenever I’m challenged by new problem, I look back at all the stuff I have been create, and realize I had different challenges with each of them, and I figure them out by keep trying, And as a artist, Is motivating and encouraging to watch all the project you done piling up, is just like watching your child growing up.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Since I just about to moving to LA, I will explore more by myself. In Chicago, I will take them to walk around the lake, it always help me to calm down and being more stable.
