We had the good fortune of connecting with Nicole Adams and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Nicole, we’d love to hear what makes you happy.
My career makes me happy. Hair is my art and my creative outlet. I love what I do, and the connections I have with my clients/friends and peers. I’m so happy behind the chair, doin hair. And out of the studio; health/fitness, plants, travel, and more hair education of course.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Now that shelter in place has been lifted, I’ve been busy seeing all of my wonderful clients excited to be getting their hair fresh again. There have been a good amount of major hair changes and that’s been extremely fun and challenging. I feel so blessed.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Absolutely! Malibu- Lake Shrine, Reel Inn, Point Dume, & Solstice Canyon. Hollywood/Bev Hills- Yamashiro at sunset (great view), Tree People, & my studio!!
DTLA- POPPY & ROSE, flower market, & The Broad.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
From being a receptionist, to assisting to working behind to chair, I have met and learned from so many people. My clients are loyal and I’m super grateful for their support. My peers encourage me, and I learn something new everyday. My clients are all badass humans who are doing great things and it’s super inspiring and magical to watch their journeys over the years, and be a part of that.
