We had the good fortune of connecting with Nicole Austin and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Nicole, what’s the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
The most important lesson I have learned on my journey is to wait on God in all that I do. Whenever I have gone ahead of God and tried to do things on my own, I end up making major mistakes. In my opinion, Prayer, faith, patience, and perseverance are all major aspects in a successful journey. I truly believe it is vital that, as a business owner, I do my part through continued research and professional development. Remaining informed, organized, and flexible is a great way to establish order and maintain a level of preparation that will help you handle any obstacles that may cross your path. Keep God first and do your part. The rest will fall into place.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Purest Academy for Kids was established to provide affordable, high quality child care/preschool services to low and moderate income families. Our mission is to provide each child with a strong educational foundation that will not only allow them to develop a love for learning, but also provide them with a smooth transition into Kindergarten. Every year upon graduation, we have at least one child that is reading. Our Preschool is also incredibly diverse. We operate like a close knit family and the love is genuine and contagious. We are much more than a babysitting service, our focus is the overall growth and development of each child.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I am a major movie lover, so we would have a movie night at a theater with the reclining seats!(laughs) We absolutely must eat at Javier’s, Crustacean, Benihanas, and Joe’s Crab Shack. We must visit The Grove and a few malls to shop as well. I am fairly mellow so those are the few things I would suggest and from there just ask what my friend would be interested in doing. If Vegas, Big Bear, and San Diego were closer, we would visit every single place. **smiles
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to dedicate my shoutout to God, my Husband, my Children, my Mother & Father, & Stepmother, my Sister, my Family(Aunts, Uncles, Cousins), my Pastor & First Lady, my supporting friends, my Church family, and last but not least, my amazing PA4K Staff and the families that have allowed us to play a vital role in their children’s lives. Without God, none of this would be possible. I am grateful for the people he placed in our path to bring the vision to fruition.
